I recently stayed at this hotel and found the breakfast experience quite disappointing. Not only was the selection very limited, but I felt like I was constantly being watched. It was as if they were worried I might take an extra slice of bread. I was in a rush and wanted to take my tea with me in a thermos, but an employee appeared out of nowhere to tell me that wasn't allowed—I had to drink it on-site. It felt like there was a "tea police" watching over me. Overall, the hotel’s strict approach to a very basic breakfast made the experience far less enjoyable. If you need a flexible morning routine, this might not be the best place to stay.

Exceeds expectations! Rooms were awesome, everything clean, very nicely decorated, ambience is excellent. The location is easy to reach by bus or taxi, being somewhere closer to nature, not in the middle of the city. The whole complex looks amazing, the room was great, there were tables on the premises where you could stay for a snack/drink/etc. There are two restaurants nearby, one with direct access from the complex, where you can go for breakfast/everything. The hosts were amazing, very helpful and nice. The place already looks great and they keep improving on it! lovely place! There are also two pools, it was too cold to swim in September :) but sunbeds were lovely to sit in the sun on warmer sunny days

It's my third time at Pension Kokel and I belive it says it all. Beautiful location, quiet place. Even if there was an event going on at the restaurant nearby on the same evening, the room that I received was very quiet, as I asked. A good size and a sunny room with a very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Very good and diverse breakfast with traditional food. Loved the homemade jam every time.

Stayed here for one night while hiking the VT with our two kids. It was great! Plenty of room to spread out. Comfortable mattresses. Excellent shower with hot water and good pressure. Small kitchenette, which was good for preparing a small breakfast, although we didn’t cook there. Washing machine and drying rack for our dirty hiking clothes. Very, very nice garden that had a beautiful green lawn, a trampoline for the kids, and a small pool, which would be great on a hot day after finishing a long hike! The owner also brought us a bottle of his homemade wine for us to try.

This beautiful old villa seizes you with its gorgeous atmosphere - a grand piano, crafted wooden furniture in the living room and original porcelain, little decor details, beautiful window views to the green hills on one side and the orchard on the other where our kid was taking some delicious apples directly from the tree. There is a little collection of old cars, a pool our kid absolutely enjoyed and a possibility to ride horses. The room was light, super clean, with everything needed. The vila is located almost on the main road (easy to get), concurrently it is very silent and nothing disturbs you from enjoying the rest. There is a good collection of tea in the lobby and coffee maker for those who wake up before the restaurant is opened. The restaurant offers good food, the breakfast was generous.
