The hotel is in a nice location. It is set in the forest just as you finish driving the Transfăgărășan ans get ready to enter Cartisoara on your way to Sibiu. The hotel is very nice with, nice rooms, and comfortable beds. The rooms are pretty large and are well kept. They have a restaurant on site and the food is good. The hotel also has breakfast included which is a plus. They also have a huge heated pool, located in the building next to the hotel. The pool is super nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Cottage by the River. The owners were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive, always available to help with every little request. The backyard is truly amazing, especially for families, with a pool, hot tub, games for the kids, a lovely deck and a fire pit that makes the evenings feel very special. The house itself is beautifully renovated, stylish, comfortable, and extremely well equipped with everything you could need. A beautiful place to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and spend quality time together. Highly recommended!

The houses are very cute and comfortable despite of the limited space. The owners are helpful and keep making improvements. Outside area well equipped and a beautiful and relaxing green grass area. I didn't use the tub, but it was appreciated by my group.
