I have booked the place in last minute. Its true gem next to Kruger Malelane Gate which just 10 mins away. Staff was super helpful, They have included us into dinner even we were late. Food quality, Kitchen service was amazing. They are kind, helpful, respectful and I am thankful for each of them. View from the room is amazing! You are looking directly to Crocodile River and Kruger Park. I love it! Im sure I will be visiting again!

Rooms were nice and the location to the Malelane gate can’t be beat

The rooms were very clean, spacious, and the grounds were lovely. The view from our 2 room chalet was gorgeous overlooking the river where we spotted a few crocodiles and hippos in the morning. There were two pools which looked great but we didn't have time for a dip. There was also an outdoor gym which was a nice touch.

We stayed here after a few nights in the Kruger and it was like a warm bath, so lush and green! We went for a hike up the mountain, and the staff were so kind to provide walking sticks. Dinner under the canopy of trees, serenaded by frogs, utter magic.

Everything was fantastic. We enjoyed the room, the view, the seating areas, hospitality, service, and food. I’ve stayed at a lot of places around the world and I have to say this is one of my top places, and also the most affordable hotel of all my favorites. Watching the animals across the river in Kruger, the 3 course meal for dinner, great atmosphere and attentive service made it a real experience. The price was also really reasonable for what you get. My only regret is not staying longer. Thank you Johan for helping us!

We loved it here! We had a warm welcome. The self catering cabin was basic and clean. The viewing deck over the Crocodile River was fantastic. It was only 15 minutes from good grocery stores and Malelane Gate into Kruger.

The location is amazing! It is right next to the crocodile river over-looking the banks of the Kruger National park. It is a 20-min drive from the Malelane gate of the Kruger National park. The apartment is beautifully designed, well-furnished, well-maintained and clean. The sofa-bed is also good quality and ideal for kids any age.

Overnighted at Mhlati Cottages before entering Kruger National Park during December. Very impressed with the service, stay and the location of the Mhlati cottages only a stone throw away from the Malelane gate. Ideally located and equipped for anyone that would like to travel into Kruger as a day visitor or as a overnight stop before entering. The breakfast offered was also excellent.

The location is great, it is very close to the shops and not far from Kruger gate. The wifi worked perfectly.

The unit far exceeded our expectations. Lovely kitchen, awesome rooms and toilets. The location is good too. Pick n pay is barely 5 minutes away, there's a Nando's just across the road. Would love to stay here again.

We had an excellent, enjoyable stay at the House of Bongekile. Its location in a safe neighborhood in the little town of Malelane was perfect. The floor plan lends itself to a large group, or just a couple, offering four nicely furnished en suite bedrooms with one being an expansive, luxurious suite with a Jacuzzi-style tub and large shower. Our bed was very comfortable and gave us a great sleep. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances and plenty of dishes, glasses and cooking utensils. The open-plan living room & dining area are comfortably furnished and there's a small courtyard with a braai, a pool, and chairs for lounging. The added touch of an exterior security perimeter ensures safety and privacy. The staff was great and it was truly a pleasure to meet the owner, Penny, and trade stories about adventures in the Kruger National Park which is just a short drive away. Highly recommended!

A wonderful experience beyond expectation! The host was so friendly and helpful ! The retro interior designs of every corners in house are amazing ! One room with own balcony with riverside view ! Facilities are ample with good functionality. The common areas are extraordinary . We love the views and relaxing area , just enjoying the serene and private moments . We even saw a large group of elephants in the opposite river .

It was super clean and comfortable.
