We just spent a wonderful two days at Château de Monsac in the Dordogne. It’s a beautifully restored historic building that has been renovated sympathetically by the hosts, over decades. Everywhere you look, says “labour of love” and we were impressed with so many little details. Fabienne and Frédéric are warm and attentive hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Their service was intuitive and we appreciated their local knowledge and advice on exploring the Dordogne. We recommend having the breakfast which included fresh flaky pastries, homemade granola, jams and freshly squeezed orange juice. Our dog Maisy was made welcome and the Talbot room worked perfectly for us with its two outside terraces.

Le clos de l’Âne Dentelle fica a 10 km de Estação de trem de Sarlat-la-Canéda e oferece uma piscina ao ar livre com funcionamento sazonal, um jardim e acomodações com ar-condicionado, terraço e Wi-Fi... What a spot to spend the last days of our vacation in the Dordogne Valley. Nathalie and Laurent were great hosts. From a warm greeting when we arrived to seeing them each morning as they brought a wonderful breakfast to our room at the prearranged time. The place is beautifully decorated, our room/living area was super spacious with the view across the valley floor to Castelnaud perched on the opposite hill. And of course the balloons drifting by most mornings and evenings. The location is central, Castelnaud across the bridge, picturesque towns just “down the road” in either direction. The Jardins de Marqueyssac (highly recommend!) just up the hill. About a 25 minute drive to prehistoric cave paintings at Les Eyzies. Everything is close. There are restaurants in the nearby towns, but also a great spot just across the road, with Lucile and Corrine looking after you. The only sad part was having to leave Nathalie, Laurent and their lovely place to head home. Highly recommend this B&B. A real treat!

The owners, Dominique and Christophe were very friendly and caring! Also their lovely pets Albus and Pepper were adorable. The rooms were spacious and cool and the swimmingpool well maintained. An absolute paradise in the Dordogne! Thank you for having us! :)

Domaine Les Maurelles fica em Milhac, Midi-Pyrénées, a 19 km de Estação de trem de Sarlat-la-Canéda, e oferece acomodações com Wi-Fi grátis, um parquinho infantil, um terraço e estacionamento... amazing view and space! the place is quiet and the water pool is perfect. Hosts are super generous and thoughtful, helped us with anything we needed.

Com vista para o jardim, Les Rocailles fica em Lamonzie-Montastruc e tem restaurante, um lounge compartilhado, bar, jardim, piscina ao ar livre com funcionamento sazonal e terraço. Willem and Monique are very attentive hosts and we felt immediately at home. The bucolic setting provided much needed relaxation. The pool was lovely and the pool bar a welcome addition to the lounging. Our room and bed were comfortable and the shower phenomenal. Breakfast was plentiful with delicious homemade jams. We would definitely go back alone or with friends and highly recommend Les Rocailles.

The grand maison has been beautifully and lovingly decorated inside with works of art everywhere you look. The outdoor patios, pool and grounds are spacious and peaceful- a delightful place to unwind and relax. Our breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and we could not have asked for anything more.

Em Archignac, Les Jardins de Virginie oferece piscina ao ar livre com funcionamento sazonal e ar-condicionado. The location was quiet, in the country. My husband and I run every day - there were great country roads to run on for miles. The breakfast was very good; it included a bread pudding (far breton). The host, Virginie, was very accommodating and friendly. We had use of the kitchen which is nice because we usually bring our food instead of eating out. The room had an air conditioner/heater. We used the heater since the weather was chilly. We enjoyed our one night stay and would gladly return.

La Grange de Cablanc está em Monestier e conta com acomodação com piscina ao ar livre, Wi-Fi grátis, jardim e terraço. We loved everything. Exceptional hospitality, very rich breakfast. We felt like family. We would love to come back.
