Le Royere is beautifully furnished and includes all the necessary accessories for a pleasant and comfortable visit. It is conveniently located on the main town square. Restaurants and shops are available in areas immediately surrounding the apartment. Christine was an excellent hostess and always available to accommodate us. We really enjoyed our stay in Sarlat and would return again to stay in this accommodation. The apartment provided an excellent “home base” for us to explore the nearby Dordogne area.

Les 4 Saisons is a wonderful apartment on a quiet spot in the town of Sarlat - la-Caneda. It is well situated to many of the places we wanted to visit such as the "Beaux Villages" along the Dordogne River. Rocamadour and many chateauxs, gardens and castles. Sarlat's medieval town was wonderful with many places to dine and shop. We especially like having a kitchen for a few days and the ability to wash some clothes. Out host was wonderful and helpful in out navigating of the area.

Located in a picturesque part of Terrasson-Lavilledieu, this B&B accommodation is offered by a friendly and charming hostess, Isabelle, who went out of her way to communicate with us via the Google translator! We felt homely in this B&B and we were pleasantly surprised by the attractive medieval town of Terrassson. Les Jardine de I' imaginaire ( the Garden of Imagination) is a great attraction in the town which is much under represented in the Dordogne area of France.

Absolutely everything! So pleased we found this place, it’s an oasis of calm in a beautiful rural setting. The Gite is fitted out to a high standard with every amenity and the owner takes great pride in maintaining high standards. The location is perfect for hiking, cycling or simply visiting the famous villages and sites of the Dordogne. There aren’t many properties in France that I’ve stayed in and not wanted to leave but this is one and a return visit is planned for next year.

My wife and I spent 7 nights at 1 logis à Domme, using the hotel as a base for exploring the Dordogne. It's not an exaggeration to say that this was one of the most delightful places we've stayed anywhere in the world. The palatial room and bath; the lovely garden; the pool and spa; the superb breakfasts; the cozy library; the breathtaking views. Most of all, the attention and friendship of the gracious hosts, Hélène and François, made this an incomparable experience.

This was our favourite property on our recent tour around France. We had a large, characterful and comfortable room with views of the garden and swimming pool. The pool is large with lots of sun loungers, seats and parasols. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast on the roof terrace directly overlooking the River Dordogne. The hosts are welcoming and very helpful. The property is well-located overlooking the river and is just a 15 minute walk from the centre of Lalinde.

Very comfortable cottage with ideal location in one of the cutest villages in Southwest France. Tons of charm! Superior master suite in cellar, plus two bedrooms upstairs. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable courtyard with table and sofas. Also, dozens of sights within an hours drive. Castles, caves, beautiful countryside, forests, food, friendly locals, market days in every town, float trips on the Dordogne River. Spent 3.5 weeks here, it felt like heaven.

Excellent chateau Hotel in the Dordogne close to the river, and opposite to Chateau Milandes, the former home of Josephine Baker, and a short 10 min drive to the centre of Sarlat. We had a splendid room on the second floor with fine views to the spectacular Chateau de Beynac from our window and terrace. The associated restaurant was excellent with a superb wine list. The chateau had an fine library/ lounge room on the first floor.

This is one of our favorite accommodations anywhere! Large, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet apartment in the heart of our favorite Dordogne village. The view is fantastic from the small terrace, as well as from all windows. The second bathroom was a welcome surprise we weren't expecting! They have a private parking area for guests next to one of the public pay lots which makes coming and going very easy.

Great location to explore the Dordogne region ! Spotlessly clean and cosy apartments on the very quiet side of the village. A lot of small things that make your stay so nice (coffee machine, mineral water upon arrival, kettle with a great choice of tea, etc) Willingness to help in every question Marvelous breakfast served by the owners We loved staying there…it was just perfect.

The hotel is a chateau that has been recently renovated. Everything is brand new. the rooms are beautifully decorated, super cozy and very comfortable. There is a golf course in the works that should be ready by summer 2023. The food is excellent and the ambiance is great. We will come back to lovely Dordogne and will stay again at the Domaine de Rochebois.

Maggie was a terrific hostess... very warm, responsive to questions, helpful and shared her love of the Dordogne. We liked being able to make breakfast and sometimes supper for ourselves, and not having to eat in restaurants for all our meals. Because the apartment is a short walk from Sarlat, we enjoyed feeling that we were really living in a community.

Location and Apartment were delightful. Veronique, the host was extremely helpful and very outgoing. We felt like we were living in a medieval castle room with state-of-the-art appliances and fixtures. Stepping out the door we were instantly transported into a medieval city with copious entertainment, dining choices and all that Dordogne has to offer.

Well-appointed renovated apartment in an old farmhouse. Had a nice chat with the owners about the history of the building and area. Rooms, bedrooms included, are large so no feeling of being cramped. Close to Beynac, Sarlat, Castelnaud, caves at Les Eyzies. We would certainly stay there again if visiting the Dordogne or Vézère valleys.

The property was magical, just like Beynac.. it was filled with care and special touches that made our stay very enjoyable . You couldn’t get a better location, view was something out of a movie, in fact we kept pinching ourselves to make sure it was real. We would highly recommend La Source and the Dordogne region of France as a whole.

Honestly the most perfect place you will ever come across in this area in France, the grounds are immaculate, the facilities are phenomenal, the rooms are completed to the highest standard. The biggest plus are the hosts, they can’t do enough for guests! We can’t say enough GREAT things about La verte Dordogne! Can’t wait to return!

Excellent apartment, tasteful, functional, cozy, everything we needed was available and working. Sophie was very helpful and responded fast to the few questions we had (and which we could have answered ourselves had we read the welcome booklet). We will definitely try to stay here next time we’re visiting the Dordogne!

Great location, unforgettable view from the terraces, breakfasts in a wonderful kitchen, atmosphere of peace and friendship. Beautiful, old house on the edge of the forest, 5 minutes to the river. Close to the most beautiful towns of the Dordogne valley. Apartment with all the necessary amenities. Very stylish.

The location was wonderful, the grounds were very nice and the rooms were very good. Good central location to check out the sights along the Dordogne River and the hill towns in the area. Food options nearby were good and close. We could see something like five chateau from where we were staying.

Really first rate hotel. The proprietor speaks perfect English and provided great insights on things to see and do in the Dordogne and the best way of organising our itinerary. Breakfasts aren't cheap but the quality and variety is excellent. Plentiful onsite parking is also a big plus.
