Located in Kita-karuisawa, 34 km from Honmachi Machiyakan, ANA Holiday Inn Resort Karuizawa by IHG provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. This was the nicest hotel room we stayed in across Japan (we stayed at 6 hotels and various other apartments, homes, and condos). Everything was updated and the layout was exceptional. The staff was kind enough to facilitate getting us a tee time at the onsite golf course. It was an amazingly beautiful course.

We rented a cabin during our stay which was clean and the heated floors were already warmed up before we arrived. The shuttle to and from the main resort was extremely convenient and arrived upon request. The onsen is absolutely phenomenal and the breakfast was great with a lot of options. My wife is a vegetarian and we never had any problems filling our plates. The staff were very nice and accommodating and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure your stay was exceptional. Honestly, my wife and I loved staying here and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Surrounded by lush mountains in Minakami, Tenjin Lodge is just a 5-minute walk from Tenjindaira Snow Resort Ropeway and JR Doai Station. Quiet location and easy access to nearby slopes as well as trains for a visit into town. Amazing staff!

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Hotel Yunojin is located in Minakami, 39 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and 42 km from Naeba Ski Resort. the buffet for breakfast and dinner were amazing ! always wanted to try bits of different japanese food and they deliver that ! i love the outdoor onsen plus the smell of the cypress tree adds a 3d dimension experiences of an outdoor onsen. and I thoroughly enjoy my times having an outdoor onsen ! it was tranquil. In addition i really love that they have arcade games, massage chair and also karaoke rooms. seeing the arcade games was nostalgic and makes me reminiscence my childhood times . Although old school but these games are getting rare to see these days.

Room was spacious. Breakfast was exceptional - tremendous variety. Staff was very friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier.
