Staying at Baia Sonambula was outstanding. The room (#1) I stayed in was magnificant. The staff was lovely and overdelivered. They went above and beyond during my stay. I highly recommend staying here. It is close to the beach - roughly a 10 second walk. The views from breakfast were breathtaking. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends and family

We stayed at Blue Ocean Tofo Hotel for our honeymoon beach getaway, and it was flawless! It operates at a true 5-star standard—impeccably clean with incredible service that catered to our every need. They handled our airport transfers and even added beautiful honeymoon decorations to our spotless superior oceanview king room. Unlike other lodges in the area, the Wi-Fi here is excellent and available everywhere. The beachside infinity pool is stunning, and the onsite restaurant serves superb food. Plus, it’s a 5-minute walk to dozens of diverse restaurants (sushi, Mexican, local food). Tofo town and the 7km beach felt incredibly safe to walk around. The vibe is great, with live music and a fun street party every Sunday. Tip: Draw cash in Maputo/Inhambane first as there are no local ATMs, though 90% of places take cards. With room options for most budgets, it’s a perfect value for honeymooners, families, and solo travelers!

EVERYTHING! the location was superb! 2 mins walk to tofo beach. the view from the balcony in every floors were stunning. i was upgraded to the room with private balcony from my second day. every morning i woke up with the most beautiful sunrise. thank you ! room was very clean. well organized. staffs are kind and helpful. the walkway to the beach is sand road. but everywhere in tofo is like that. i never felt unsafe. Everything was much much better in real life than the photos. i would 100% come back.
