Wonderful location only a little walk from the river for a swim. Comfortable, well appointed furniture both in the rooms and the bar and restaurant. The hotel is new and meticulously built. The included breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful, with most speaking excellent English. We look forward to returning.

I’m so glad we chose this guesthouse! The family is very nice, they also have cut dogs. The room was very clean and the bed incredibly comfy. You can eat both traditional or “basic” food for a good price and it was really really tasty. The breakfast included is very good and consistent. You can take it away if you want to begin your hike early morning. We chose to walk to the starting point which is 30/40min away, but they also can bring you by car.

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed! The views from the room and around the house were stunning. Everyone we interacted with who worked there were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner, breakfast, and a take away lunch from the restaurant on site - all were fantastic and reasonably priced!

The owner/host is very friendly and concerned with the guests' comfort. The location is very quiet, and the view is impressive. Vila Alexander is several kilometers away from Valbona which is trying to turn itself into a groovy "scene". Pretty much car dependant, but local shuttles do stop nearby. Read all the details about location and policies, and there won't be any surprises.
