The hotel is new, opened last year, and very modern. I had the suite 401, what can I say, I could see the sea from my bed when the curtains were open. The beach is just across the street, sunbeds were free. Breakfast is buffet, but has anything you could possibly want. It is the same every day, bur you can create your own combinations. All the staff are super nice and friendly. But, I must point out Bella, the owner who also works in the hotel, alongside her staff. Super friendly, smile and patience for everyone. I have some mobility issues, but she was there helping me, running pharmacy errands for me, genuinely caring, checking to see how I was. When the soles of my flipflops separated, she found the super glue to fix them - they lasted till the end of my stay, but she offered to go to town and buy a pair. An amazing lady. I would also like to point out the great massage lady Anisa. Her daily massages really helped my legs You can find many modern hotels everywhere, but you won't find such passionate, dedicated, customer-service oriented staff everywhere. You will find that at Mazarine Hotel. I was deeply touched, honestly. I would gladly return to this hotel. Excellent, thank you dear staff for everything. P.S. they have beach towels, just ask for them. That's great because towels can occupy a lot of space in the suitcase.

If you are looking to relax in a comfortable room, enjoy a good view and eat some good food, this is a good option to do so. The staff was AMAZING, champagne on arrival, you are made to feel very welcome. Excellent location, with a casino and rooftop bar at the hotel. I highly recommend this place, it will not disappoint you. One of the best places to stay in Vlore.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully new hotel. Everything was meticulously clean and tastefully designed, from the spacious room to the sleek and modern finishes. Our room had full-height windows and a balcony with a breathtaking view - waking up to that was a treat. The bed was super comfortable, and parking was convenient, right next to the hotel building. A true highlight was the hotel’s own restaurant downstairs. It’s a beautifully designed, trendy space with great vibes, delicious drinks, and truly tasty food. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there, made even better by the incredibly friendly hostesses who spoke excellent English and made us feel so welcome. The only minor issue was that the shower water wasn’t hot, just warm. Since we stayed only one night, we’re not sure if it’s a common thing - but it didn’t affect our overall experience.

Everything perfect. Away from city noise, and also close to the city center. Staff so polite, which is strange for the area.. The lady who prepares the breakfast, every morning asked us if everything is ok, with breakfast and hotel. So cute.

    Great location, near main walking area & many restaurants a few feet away. They have a small private beach, rocky like most beaches in that area, and another bigger beach area right next door with easy access. Very clean and very friendly staff, shout out to Oria and the front desk team, you were wonderful! Great food nice chef!

    Amazing view! The place is popular with locals thanks to its unbeatable location. The food was absolutely outstanding — truly on another level. The waitstaff came across as a bit serious both nights we dined there, but it wasn’t a big issue and didn’t take away from the overall experience.

    Certainly not the next Rivera!

    Certainly not the next Rivera! Really ugly in terms of the newer buildings. Not much to do there at all except for going to the beach. Every shop had fake brands in them and that’s it! Lacked any cultural feel. No customer service. In general people were very very rude and not pleasant to deal with. Streets were really dirty.

    Vlorë was great, quiet and chilled through the day and really comes alive at night. The Lungomare ‘strip’ was extremely long and caters for everyone. We went to the Vlora ‘old town’. It’s either been renovated recently or built for tourists but it looks extremely new - it consists of about 2 streets and a little square but is very nice with a good vibe and a few good bars and restaurants. Worth a visit

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.

    Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

    Drymades beach town is only worth visiting for the beach - which is amazing. Smallpeeble beach with clear clean water. Noting to see og do in the besch area. Only restaurants, minimarkets and beachbars. No shops or small streets. The restaurants are in general overpriced compared to other areas in Albania and the food and service does not follow the high prices. Go here for the beach for max 3 days

    The sea and the beach are not far from Orikumi. The only problem I had was that I found some very nice beaches on the peninsula next to Orikumi on Google maps, but actualy there is a military zone and driving to the peninsula is prohibited, the only way to get there is by a boat. However, on Google maps there is a normal road. We found many differences between Google maps and the real situation in Albania. So be careful what you expect. The beaches are mostly private and sunbeds and umbrellas are paid.

For the price you pay in high season which was 45 EUR per night, of course you don't expect luxury, but some basics should be in place: - 1st of all, the photos used in Booking.com were all from the 2nd building they manage, and don't correspond with the room booked at least on 50%. - the power plugs were a hazard to be aware(when you're travelling with a toddler). - the electric stove provided was almost at half meter height, a constant danger for toddlers. - the air con could be put on only by plugging in the plug and it was configured to the coldest temperature, very annoying to deal with it during the night. - hygiene could've improved: closet was dirty on the top, full of dust, the bathroom super-small. - when I asked for a sponge and dishwashing lotion, the owner told me that I was the 1st ever to ask for that. What? You put a kitchen.

    Qeparo is a charming little village with a lovely "shetitore" (promenade) perfect for evening walks along the beach. The village stretches along the coast, offering breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters, though you'll need to walk a few steps to reach the shore. We had no trouble finding a sunbed without reservations, and the food was delicious and fairly priced—highly recommend restaurants Poseidon and Te Stefi! The only downside was the lack of trash bins along the promenade, which left the walking path a bit messy. This is definitely an area that could be improved. Overall, a peaceful, beautiful spot with great food and friendly vibes.

    Lukovë is a small, cozy village 20km from Sarandë. It is surrounded by hills with olive trees and other typical Mediterranean Plata that give off a specific and pleasant aroma. It is the perfect place for alternative tourism away from the overcrowded Ksamil and Sarandë. You can find here restaurants that serve local food, friendly and welcoming service and nice public beaches.

    If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Hotel Amare in Palasë exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident — everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner of the hotel felt fresh and welcoming. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every meal was a highlight, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. But what truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience memorable. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high standards of service, comfort, and charm. Hotel Amare has become one of my absolute favorite places in Palasë. A hidden gem I can’t wait to return to. Highly, highly recommended!
