This place was really good. Very nice , cozy place with big and clean bathroom. Big enough room , quite, safe. Will stay there again. parking was also easy and sufficient on that night. Reached after 9 PM still easy to access.

Everything was just superb! From the recepcion desk, through the waiters at the breakfasts to the employer at the wellness everyone was very kind, professional and ready to help guests. We were feeling like at home, very welcoming and comfortable. Pool is very clear and clean and excellent maintenied, it was a pleasure for me to do my everyday training there after the long stressful day. Worm recommendations for this fantastic place to stay.

Very quiet and convenient location, super friendly and professional hotel staffs . They take care of gust booking, arrival and parking in a proactive manner. Quirky hotel with automated check-in that works great. If you are on the autobahn and need a good night's sleep - stay here. Parking is free during the night hours only, so be careful. Romantic Region of Castles and Christmas Markets

Home to some of the world’s oldest and finest Christmas markets, Bavaria is the German region touching Lake Constance and the Austrian and Czech borders. Although evoking images of beer, lederhosen and fairytale castles, it’s much, much more than that.

Famous for Oktoberfest, its capital Munich has impressive architecture lining squares and parks, and several luxury Bavaria hotels on Booking.com. To the north, Nuremberg is a city of 2 halves: a picture-postcard old town and grandiose Nazi rally grounds housing a sensitive museum.

With a stately palace and gardens, Erlangen is on the Regnitz River which continues to beautiful Bamberg where one of the half-timbered buildings hovers above the flowing river. Bayreuth is well-known for opera performances of Wagner, a former resident, while Regensburg on the Danube River has a beautiful, medieval centre.

Unsurprisingly, most romantic Bavaria hotels are on the Romantic Road between Würzburg, with its hilltop castle, and Füssen in the foothills of the Alps. From the moment you enter the hotel, you feel very relaxed and special. After making the reservation, I contacted the front office manager, Jan-Eike, to organize a special birthday surprise for my wife, and he personally handled the entire process. When we arrived at the hotel, everything had been prepared perfectly, exactly as I had wished. All the staff at the hotel are friendly, understanding, and very willing to fulfill requests. The pool and SPA areas are very hygienic. The breakfast is very diverse, the quality is extremely high, and the flavors are wonderful. The special and refined menus in the evening restaurants were ambitious enough to rival Michelin-starred restaurants. The surroundings of the hotel are just as magnificent. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and even though we couldn’t get in to our rooms straight away, we were able to use the pool and sauna hours before. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and the coffee machine in the reception area ,where everyone could help themselves freely, was amazing. Our rooms were fantastic- One of the rooms was very modern and the other one was typical German style. Everything was really clean and comfortable and we had beautiful views of the sea. Breakfast was plentiful and there was something for everyone.

One of the Best place we ever stayed with Family. We arrived late at night and Leonie gave us the most warmest welcome. The staff are very attentive, and the spa and pools are great. Many indoor and outdoor facilities for the children. Breakfast is amazing. During our stay Leonie and her team took great care of us and nothing was too much trouble. We left early in the morning and received a very generous and tasty breakfast for the road too. Can't recommend this place enough, we will be back!

Perfect location in front of the Königssee. The receptionist was super kind to give us a FREE room upgrade to a very nice and newly renovated room with balcony and direct view of the Königssee. The stay was so worth it after night-shift work and the 10hr-train-travel. Love the bed and the bathroom too. Breakfast buffet.

To be completely honest, among all the famous cities in Germany, I never expected Nuremberg to be this beautiful. With its great restaurants serving classic recipes, the lovely greenery, and its stunning historical medieval architecture, it went way beyond our expectations. If we had known it was this gorgeous with so much to see, we definitely would have planned a longer stay. We only came to the city for our flight back and got to explore for just one day, but it absolutely deserves more time. We heard that Germany’s largest Christmas market is held here, so we are definitely keeping it in mind to come back during that season!

Wurzburg is a very nice, historic city that mixes traditional and student culture. It isn't as beautiful as other, better restored (after WW2) cities like Nuremberg and Regensburg but still has much charm - a glass of local wine on the old stone bridge on a sunny afternoon is hard to beat. Definately worth a visit.

This is a touristy town, yes, and therefore a bit on the expensive side. However, it's also filled with a lovely array of restaurants and shops as well as some gorgeous architecture and breathtaking views on the bridge overlooking the river. The town is wonderful to stroll around and we felt very safe no matter the hour; we took to walking around a lot at night before bed so we could make sure to take in the sights we might have missed during the day! The train station has regular trains all day long so it's easy to use Füssen as a "springboard" to explore other areas nearby (we regret not making it to Austria which is tantalizingly close!!!) The town is safe, quaint, interesting and lovely. Although we enjoyed our time here and don't always want to return to more expensive/touristy areas once we've experienced them, my entire family wants to return to Füssen!! Don't let anyone talk you out of Neuschwanstein or Hohenschwangau castles as "too touristy" and give yourselves enough time to REALLY take in all Füssen and the surrounding area has to offer!

A relaxing town, easily walkable, has good restaurants with some variety and access to hiking and other places of interest. Particularly recommend the Afghan restaurant great food very reasonably priced.

This is a great town for a nice getaway.

This is a great town for a nice getaway. Loved the shops and the nature walks. The Night Watchman tour is a must but note it is no longer free. There is a fee at the end of 4 euros per person, which isn't a bad price but it is advertised as free.

Franconian beer.

Franconian beer. Bamberg and even better in the surrounding towns you will drink Franconian beer. And your life will never be the same. Bamberg incredible, the surrounding towns even better, get to the Kellers (Griess Keller and Sauer Keller for example).

A charming old city in Germany, not as busy and expensive as...

A charming old city in Germany, not as busy and expensive as Munich or Berlin and at least as charming. It is easy to walk between the many places of interest and if you get tired the free public transport can take you back to your acommodation.

A lively city with nature, 3 rivers, parks, a large historical centre and a castle, many various restaurants and cafés and friendly people. You can't get enough walking around and enjoying the romantic atmosphere. You can go to the opera or enjoy some open air festival in the summer, or go on boat trips. Also nice for sports outdoors.
