We had an amazing stay at Drift Hotel! The location is perfect, within walking distance of the city center, restaurants, bars, and the famous Queen Emma Bridge. The hotel has a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with recommendations and any questions we had. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a great stay. One of the things we loved most was the peaceful and charming environment, while still being close to all the main attractions in Willemstad. It was the perfect base for exploring Curaçao. Thank you to the entire Drift Hotel team for making our vacation so memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Curaçao!

I loved the place, the staff, the service, and the casita. The staff; Xiomara, Luis, Manuel, Rafael, and the american guy (dont remember his name) were extremelly helpful and display excellent customer service kills. Cleaning services were great. My observations: The casitas bathroom need some maintenance at the showers, we had a party of 3, but e everythig at the casita were for two. We notice that cleaning service were done in the morning, however someone went inside the casita later on without a notice.

Loved our room, a bungalow with terrace and chairs looking towards the sea. Good restaurant, breakfast and evening meals, especially breaded prawns in coconut sauce! We also ate at restaurant across the road which we enjoyed too. The pool was wonderful with great sunbeds. Sound of the waves splashing onto the shore! From the hotel there is an amazing nature walk adjacent to the shore leading up to the lighthouse, where there are great views in both direction. Very few people seem to find this!

This time a year the entire east coast and that is Punta...

This time a year the entire east coast and that is Punta Cana is suffering from a lot of sargassum sea weed. It tunrs the water from blue to brown and stinks. So try to find a place that is on the opposite side (west) or hidden enough that the weed cant enter. Otherwise you wont swim in turqise water! Avoid to drink water, raw food etc. I got very sick from a Margharita at the Bar.

Extremely relaxing and a good way to connect with nature. Would definitely like to visit again. Getting around is easy especially with Uber. Visiting the island of Vieques is a must because there are these bioluminescent bays, with the one at Mosquito Bay being the brightest in the world. Kayaking through the bay, in the night and seeing the water light up blue each time it is disturbed and looking up to the skies and seeing the Milky way, is truly surreal.

Curaçao is a small island that is perfect for a relaxing trip of about 7 to 10 days. It's a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the beaches and atmosphere. One thing to keep in mind is transportation. Public transportation is very limited—I hardly ever saw a public bus, and there were very few taxis. As a tourist, it's highly recommended to rent a car or a scooter to explore the island comfortably. Another thing I really loved was the incredible mix of cultures and languages. The island has a unique international vibe, and the warm tropical weather with high humidity is perfect if you enjoy getting a nice tan quickly!

The hip strip was a strip of roadway that is very accommodating to tourists. Anything you need would be offered. We love how Montego Bay is not a far drive to the international airport. The famous Doctors Cave Beach was such a beautiful beach that one could stay all day there. And we were blessed to have a lovely driver take us to the KFC in Montego Bay that I must say, that thier chicken tastes better than other KFC’s we have had in Europe, North America, or in South America.

A relaxed beach town, and major step-off point for trips to Saona Island. The place is buzzing at the start and end of the day when island trips depart and return, but otherwise it's relaxed and friendly. Plenty of places to eat and drink at night. Overall, far more liberty to wander and take trips than if you're stuck at a resort :-)

What I liked: The people were great—friendly, welcoming, and full of good energy I had a lot of fun exploring outside, enjoying the city, beaches, and local spots The culture, music, and vibe make it a place you can truly enjoy What I didn’t like: My accommodation was terrible, which affected part of the experience Some places can be hit or miss, so where you stay really matters Overall: Even though my stay at the property was bad, Puerto Plata itself was a great experience. The people and the environment made up for it. I would definitely come back—but next time, I’ll choose a better place to stay. Tip: Do your research on accommodations. The location is amazing, but your stay can make or break the experience

Other food was from the local fish market and other local vegetable stands. The simple life and life with the local people was lovely. The beaches are beautiful. The people are kind and I always felt welcomed everywhere I went. We spent very little time in the all inclusive areas of Negril. Just passing by on the beaches. My heart is definitely in Negril.
