Tastefully appointed with excellent food and quaint rooms with a stunning view, this place is a 10++++. We have travelled extensively throughout the US and Europe. We enjoy the 5-star hotel experience, but there is nothing like the simplicity of a welcoming, well appointed establishment! It is a welcome experience and this place is one of our favorites. We will definitely be back if we are up this way again in the future!

The room was just perfect. So nicely furnished with a tiny patio table and chairs outside to fully enjoy the view. It was probably a bit higher priced but very well worth it. Appeared to have been very nicely totally redone. Bathroom was huge. Although they did not provide breakfast we were still very happy at this motel. Staff very pleasant

This is a small boutique hotel with a phenomenal restaurant in the building. Had two dinners and two breakfasts. Basically ate ourselves silly. Received exceptional service from all staff. Highly recommend.

We stayed at chalet number 3 amazing stay for atleast two nights not far from the whale watching. Great staff and clean and organized ! And not far from the fairmont Manoir well situated !

La Malbaie is a fascinating destination with accessibility to artists’ villages, fromageries, fabulous bakeries and superb terroir cuisine. Stunning views over the Saint Lawrence, wonderful walking trails at all levels. The artist village of Baie St. Paul is a must!

This was my first stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed it...
This was my first stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed it! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.
My only regret is that I only stayed for one night and didn’t book a room with a view of the river — something I’ll definitely do next time!

We drove 2 hours from Quebec City to La Malbaie so we could...
We drove 2 hours from Quebec City to La Malbaie so we could visit the beautiful gardens of Quatre Vents. We stayed at a lovely B&B called Auberge La Chateleine and enjoyed an amazing dinner at Chez Truchon Bistro. Sorry we had only one day/night for this visit. Next time we will spend more time in La Malbaie!
