- From $754.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 287 reviewsI was lucky enough to stay at many renowned hotels, but this one stands out as the finest by far. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond at every step—from the valet’s gracious welcome to the reception’s professionalism and the concierge’s exceptional attentiveness. Even the breakfast buffet team paid close attention to my preferences, making each morning feel personally tailored. It truly felt as though my comfort was their highest priority. I don’t usually gravitate toward anything with a classic or antique style, often finding the drapery and detailing a bit overwhelming. But this hotel proved me completely wrong. From the polished dark wood to the impeccably maintained linen, every element was tastefully curated and beautifully executed. Thank you for such an exceptional and memorable experience.Guest review byMahmoudUnited Arab Emirates
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 479 reviewsBeautiful historic hotel and great facility with Spa, pool, golf and restaurant/cafe. The hotel is located at the hill overlooking Lake Geneva, wonderful views. It has a very nice spa and a nice indoor pool (a bit small) very clean . There is a vey nice main restaurant for breakfast/brunch and dinner. Also there's a bar menu that can be ordered until late. Room Service is great and the staff is very nice and helpful. We also used the baby center for our baby and they took very good care of the baby. Everyone we met was very nice, attentive and hospitable.Guest review byzeb300Switzerland

Great place to visit.
Great place to visit. The lake, and the activities around it are fantastic. If you stay in a hotel, you get a free travel pass from the government for the duration of your stay, which is super convenient. This covers buses, trams and boats across the lake. Eating out can be expensive as you would imagine, but there are lots of affordable places near the university. There is a thriving cafe culture and bars, especially around the old town which I very much enjoyed. For the younger crowd, there are nightclubs and live music along the edge of the lake. It's important to plan to get the most out of Geneva.Guest review bySeanTaiwan - 10.0

Lausanne is a lovely city, energetic, lots of nightlife, and nice restaurants, and a great metro. We used our brief time to take a classic Belle Epoch boat across the lake to Yvoire, plus lots of wandering in town.Guest review byMatthewUnited States - 10.0
Montreux is a beautiful town, located on Lake Geneva,...
Montreux is a beautiful town, located on Lake Geneva, surrounded by mountains. Great dining, lovely flower lined promenade stretching for several kilometres along the lakeside. Great train services to many parts of Switzerland, especially the Golden Pass Express, which runs between Montreux and Interlaken, travelling through amazing landscapes, Special mention if you are a Queen fan is the Freddie Tour, which is an amazing tour and commentary about the time that Freddie Mercury and the band spent in Montreux's Mountain Studios, and the town, visiting locations where they hung out, and learning a true insight to Freddie. Will certainly return to this fabulous town.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Evian-les-Bains in June, during what should be peak tourist...
Evian-les-Bains in June, during what should be peak tourist season, felt unexpectedly lifeless. Many stores appeared permanently closed, and the town lacked any real atmosphere after early evening—by 10pm, only the casino restaurant was still serving food. This left few options for late dining or entertainment. Given these circumstances and the general sense of a closed-up town, I would not recommend visiting Evian-les-Bains, especially if you're expecting a lively lakeside resort experience. While some guides and official tourism pages highlight Evian's attractive lakefront, Belle Époque architecture, and potential activities along the lake and nearby outdoors, recent firsthand accounts confirm a lack of vibrancy and operational businesses, even in traditionally busy months. For travelers who prioritize a bustling atmosphere and broad dining options long into the evening, it may be better to look elsewhere.Guest review byRudyKUnited States - 10.0

Nyon has the tough luck being located between Genebra and Lausanne. Nevertheless, the location by the lake with plenty of history makes it a great place to visit and have a gentle stroll around its quarters.Guest review byMikeSwitzerland - 8.0
Really nice location in this nice old town area.
Really nice location in this nice old town area. Simple and comfortable hotel. No AC but a portable fan was in the room that worked well. Windows opened for cooling. They did smoke in the walkway and that would enter the roof now and again. Front desk employees were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.Guest review byBrown - 10.0

There isn’t much to do in Geneva: the huge fountain and Lake Geneva, and that’s about it. The Old Town is not very big or particularly interesting compared to many other cities in Central Europe. I recommend a visit to Mount Salève, which offers beautiful views over the canton, the city, and Lake Geneva. The city provides a free public transport card if you stay in a hotel, and one bus line goes directly to the starting point of the cable car. Geneva has a wide range of good restaurants serving cuisines from around the world. As for local food, I find it overloaded with cheese. Eating out is very expensive; expect to spend at least 40 CHF (about 40 €) per person for lunch, with dinner costing even more. Geneva is not a large city, and the central area feels relatively small. What bothered me most was the noticeable prostitution, homelessness, and drug use, especially around the main railway stationGuest review byRistoFinland
