What a surprise! This was a large, quiet, very clean room which was stocked with a delicious breakfast and located in a small village on the edge of town, halfway between Lugano and Como. It was perfect for me. But the real surprise was the restaurant downstairs - it was delicious, and the service was great. I highly recommend a stay and I hope to come back again soon.

Staff courteous and exceptionally helpful -- willingly prepared take-away breakfast since I had to leave very early in the morning. Thirty seconds from Balerna train station but rooms are quiet since they are on side of hotel facing away from station. Rooms and bathrooms super clean. Splendid terrace for drinks or meals. Excellent price-quality relation. Am staying there again next month.
