- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,110 reviewsrecently stayed at a charming hotel that offered excellent value for money. The price was very reasonable, making it a perfect choice for travelers looking for comfort without overspending. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, far from city noise, which made my stay incredibly relaxing. One of the standout features was the fresh, clean air—a refreshing change that added to the overall sense of calm. The best part of the experience was the stunning lake view. Whether from the room or the outdoor terrace, the scenery was absolutely beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset. Overall, this hotel is an ideal option for anyone seeking affordable relaxation, tranquility, and natural beauty. I would definitely recommend it for both short and long stays.Guest review bynaderKuwait

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was in an awesome area that looked out over the lake and was gorgeous. The out door seating for the restaurant was great. Surrounded by lovely areas to walk. Again the staff were some of the most helpful and friendly of out trip. It was just yard from the boat dock and Mt Rigi cogwheel train. Great breakfast variety and menu for dinner.Guest review byKentUnited States

Honestly this was one of the prettiest towns I’ve ever visited. The architecture is amazing, the nature is stunning. The clothing shops are so nice. That being said, it’s also one of the most expensive towns I’ve ever been to. All the other places we visited in Switzerland were less expensive. Still, totally worth it. 3- 4 nights is probably enough.Guest review byTanyaCanada - 8.0

Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.Guest review byMirhea AbdillaMalta - 10.0

The lake view from the hotel window, with the surrounding mountains, is vey beautiful. The mountain behind is a very nice "fitness" route. The view from the top of the mountain is even better than from the hotel, amenities include boat trips through the lake, a golf course on top of the mountain and a sky station next to the town.Guest review byJLOCAustria - 6.0
Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps.
Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps. You get their only with the steepest funicular of the world, no cars in the village. During the summer season this village only attracts people for the famous (and very overcrowded by Instagrammers and Tiktokkers) Stoos ridge hike. It is amazing and has great views but you walk in line the whole way unless you are willing to really take the 1st chairlift up there. I am sure there are as nice hikes but less crowded ridge hikes in Switzerland. It was a reminder for us to never take travel tips from social media.Guest review byMichelNetherlands - 10.0
One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not...
One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not very much known to international travelers, which means cable car prices here are way cheaper than for example Mont Pilatus. It has everything, the lakes, majestic mountain peaks, secluded Seelisberg See, the historical background. The shape of Vierwaldstättersee makes it looking like a fjord from above. I truly adore this area and I think it's highly underrated.Guest review byWentaoGermany - 8.0
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Thai restaurant - great food and service. Italian restaurant was average food, slow service because of under staffing and no fault of staff. Go carting was great fun with helpful staff. Enjoyed heated pool but really over crowded. Beautiful location. Apartment was good for our family. Kids had a great time.Guest review byCliveSwitzerland - 10.0

The closest one where I stayed for work is the Culinarium Alpinum where I require to walk to the office. Also, there is no uber or any local app for cab to be there within the city ride. However, the buses and trains are well connected as the timings alone required to be known well in advance before you travel for the day as the nearest hill for food is Sarnen and nearest station is Stans and from there, you could travel to Lucern or stop trains through hops for Zurich.Guest review byKrishnakumarIndia - 10.0
The staff were very friendly.
The staff were very friendly. The owners (Gaby and Andy) gave us hints for where to hike in winter and loaned us walking sticks. The view from our room was beautiful looking at the mountains and lake across the valley. We assume summer will be beautiful as well. The restaurant was also excellent with a good selection and service. Breakfast included with the room was also great. Altdorf was a nice little village and people were helpful. We plan to return with our children and their partners.Guest review byRandallUnited States - 10.0
A beautiful city to relax in.
A beautiful city to relax in. I am amazed the population is only 80,000 people! One of the buskers had a super voice and and was playing an unusual zither. I recommend putting your camera away and looking with your eyes, listening with your ears and feeling with all of your senses, otherwise how can you truly experience this place?Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom
