Absolutely loved the location. Yes, outside of the city but it’s a walking distance to the famous rainbows mountain “danxie”. There is a performance spot close by to “memories of zhangye” it’s nice to go early and walk a little to explore the town before the performance starts. Shaw shaw the employee that works at the camp was super helpful and friendly and managed to book me the show. All of the staff are actually super friendly. If the shared bathroom is your concern, like it was mine before going there, then don’t worry the bathrooms are clean. Loved this stay offering a clear view to danxie mountain as a backdrop✨
