We arrived late, but Marius at the front desk saved the day with a quick check-in. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with high-quality, practical details. It was a joy to wake up feeling like we were staying in a place where attention to detail truly matters.

Everything was great - wonderful location, clean room, great communication.

Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff

Both the facilities and the staff were great. The Biergarten and dining room had great service and good hours. The food and Bier were outstanding. Great hotel for biking with a storage area and work bench with bike tools, pump, etc in the underground garage.

The hosts are kind and friendly, and did everything they could to make my stay comfortable. The property is beautiful, clean, and classic. The room was wonderful, and perfectly decorated. Just a lovely space. Breakfast was a wide variety of delicious items. Meats, cheeses, fruit, breads, jams and jellies, etc, lain out in a charcuterie arrangement, tabled in a gorgeous room where I was able to chat with another guest comfortably.

Location was fabulous and easy to get to and from the train and lake.

Room was modern, spaceous, clean, and comfortable. The staff was nice. Location is good for attractions in the area. Parking. Good breakfast.

The hotel was very clean and had a wonderful buffet. Only a 10 minute walk to the train stain and then you’re straight into Munich. Unlimited coffee throughout the day - for those that need and appreciate that. No keys or key cards, just codes, so easy for all three of us to access everything at our own leisure. Friendly staff and overall a charming, well maintained place. Also great free parking.

Amazing room with a huge bathroom and a wonderful balcony towards the back with evening sunshine. Free coffee and tea at the main reception area. Wonderful selection of frozen meals and a microwave all very reasonably priced, lovely garden to relax or have a coffee. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed here for a couple additional nights. Great location to explore the Ammersee area by bicycle (they have a dedicated bicycle garage)

My husband had a medical emergency and the staff was amazingly responsive and kind.

The room was fantastic we didnt even expect, super close to the highway but no noise at all - the staff was super friendly and helpful - bathroom was huge in total we enjoyed our stay and would go back

The Altstadthotel is located in the heart of Weilheim in Oberbayern, a charming Bavarian town nestled between Munich and the Alps. The thing we enjoyed the most was the peaceful atmosphere in the old town that features picturesque streets, traditional architecture, and welcoming cafés. We had a couple of glasses of wine in a nice cafe on the central square just a 2 min stroll from the hotel. Surrounded by lakes and rolling hills, this a perfect starting point for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts especially on your way from Munich to Neuschwanstein and Schwangau area.

Great location just opposite of the train and bus station, the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The restaurant attached to the hotel is great, too.

Super friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, clean and big room, good breakfast, perfect view and location. Many thanks to Staff that helped me to celebrate my husband`s birthday :)

You exceeded expectations, the price is amazing for the hotel, the amenities are excellent, the location is amazing the food is great, the town is great, the Bartender was a little gruff, might of just had a bad day but everyone else was great. The room was like a 5-star hotel for a 3-star price. The breakfast was also great although we didn't know about the assigned seating.

Proximity to a doctor I was coming to see. It is also just at the Starnberg Lake in Berg, a very historical area to explore.

Room was a good size. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking onsite was nice.
