A balcony with sea view, a cable flat-screen TV and air conditioning are featured in some units. We stayed at different places during our Galapagos trip and Posada del Mar was the best of them. The host Carlos was very hospitable and friendly. He recommended an agency to book a ferry to another island and showed us where to buy SIM cards. Also, we got a room upgrade for free because better options were vacant – very kind of him. The location is perfect. Heart of the city, 2 min walk to the pier, but located on a quiet street. Lots of corner shops and cafes nearby. Rooms: clean and bright, look the same as you see in photos. Aircons work well. Depending on the room, windows will face either the pier and the ocean or a calm neighborhood. Some pleasant trifles: drinking water in rooms and at the reception, an elevator for your luggage, tea and coffee for free, a common area with a balcony and a kitchen on the top floor.

Romy and his family were very helpful and welcoming. The hostel was super clean, 3- 5 minute maximum walk to center, very very quiet and safe feeling. The breakfast was good and priced well but it is basically the same menu - eggs, toast, fruit, juice, coffee - everyday which you find in all the hotels here. I definitely would stay here again.
