It was great value for money, considering mid July was the peak of the season. Staff was super friendly, the pool area was nice (small pool for kids, 3 saunas, 1 swimming pool, 1 massage pool). Breakfast was excellent (they had great granola, salmon, and even even ice cream!). They had an amazing huge theme playroom for kids with very cool stuff to do! That was 9 EUR for kids (free for adults) and was valid during our entire stay! A beautiful beach city with nice and safe neighbourhoods. The lack of facilities on the beach is however strange - if you google Pärnu beach in 1930, you see some piers, a lot of sitting chairs, and places where to stay when it is raining. This time we had a sudden rain and there was nowhere to hide. You can rent a sunbathing chair but you need to return way too early and there is not enough of them. As the city itself, it is lovely but it has somewhat a feeling of being overtaken by tourists. It would also need more accommodation for tourists - the lack of it makes prices expensive (it would have been cheaper to be in Spain than Pärnu.Guest review byHelgerEstonia - 10.0

I could probably spend all Spring and Summer here if I had the time to. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and this was my second visit. Villa Rose is located at the edge of the Soomaa National Park. A lovely villa with a large garden and access to the river. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, providing an excellent dinner using their home grown vegetables. They recommended local sites to see and were very helpful when we needed to leave early in the morning. The breakfast was also superb. Perfect location - right next to the river and just few minutes away from Soomaa Nature Park trails. Very nice room, all clean and tidy.
