Excellent hotel and helpful stuff… everything is perfect, (location, view). Very good electronics( smart tv, new air condition, the refrigerator is perfect). The only thing that was missing is the toilet paper.

The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and local shops. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the warm hospitality of the host. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Very nice boutique hotel right on the Corniche of Alexandria, a short walk to where the action is and a little longer, yet still doable walk to the Citadel of Qaitbay. Easy to find if you have looked it up before on the map. A bit small, but that is normal for that type of hotels. Very friendly and warm staff, right from the man who greets you at the entrance to the building. Our room was also on the small side, but had everything we needed for a one night stay. All was clean, modern, and functional. Tasty and plentiful breakfast was served to the room at the agreed time. The place to park the car in the underground garage was a big value added service, especially with the lack of free space outside of the building. Strongly recommend.     It was a big pleasure to reside in this beautiful, comfortable house with so much tradition (the elevators are a must see, and they are fast, despite the need to manually open and close the doors). It is besides the famous "Old Cateract" in Assuan and a small privately owned hotel in Cairo the only hotel in Egypt we have been, where we were served freshly pressed, tasty orange juice for breakfast. Not even the Winterpalace in Luxor offered that. Another big point is the location right on the corniche. With a room directed to the sea, you have a great view around and on the castle across. Also, you have all interesting points in downtown in walking distance, if you do not want to take one of the horse carriages waiting in front of the hotel. Or the tramway ;-)

    Hotel is clean and the location is amazing. The staff is helpful. Facilities are all there. Rooms are clean and have pretty much all you need with an amazing view of the sea. It was ramadan so the free breakfast became free suhoor. Overall very satisfied with the quick one-day stay.

    Alexandria is truly a beautiful city with so much charm and history. The weather was amazing—pleasant sea breeze, clear skies, and perfect temperatures for enjoying the beach and sightseeing. I loved the stunning Mediterranean views, the fresh seafood, and the relaxing coastal atmosphere. Walking along the Corniche was unforgettable, especially during sunset. The hospitality of the people made the trip even more special. Everything felt warm and welcoming, and it’s definitely a destination I would recommend for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, culture, and great food. Can’t wait to visit again!

    Beach is good but full of jelly fishes.

    Beach is good but full of jelly fishes. My kids got hurt while in water. Beach is not clean. They call it Sidi Kir beach. Charge is 50EGP for umbrella and 10EGP for each chair. Entrance is free. Neighbourhood has no restaurants and almost nothing. It’s very far from the city. There is a Carrefour nearby in Orouba mall. You can go there by taxi

    Alexandria is a city full of history and character, but it’s definitely an acquired taste—especially during the summer months from July through late September when it becomes extremely crowded. The traffic can be overwhelming and is by far the most frustrating part of the experience. That said, if you must visit, I highly recommend staying in the Montazah area. It offers a unique glimpse into Alexandria’s glorious past with its royal gardens and sea views—truly a nostalgic and serene corner of the city. For those seeking vibrant beach life and modern nightlife, the North Coast (Sahel) is a far better alternative than Alexandria during Summer season (July to September). Alexandria has its charm, but it shines brightest in the quieter, cooler winter months.
