- From $351.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,366 reviewsOur room (suite, sea-facing, corner room)was exceptional. Plenty of room for two people (two bathrooms, plus a full bath), sofas, balcony with lounger and table and chairs) which could accommodate a family with two children (probably not four adults comfortably). The bed and bed linens were very comfortable. A generous 3 bottles of water were left each day. The hotel (built in 2012) was vivid with light (a contrast to the historic paradors we had stayed in during our trip). Excellent wi-fi. Pools were clean and well-managed. Hotel was professionally managed in all respects, particularly the breakfast buffet service, run by the excellent Breakfast Service manager. Attention to detail in all aspects of the hotel made for a very enjoyable stay - e.g. thin nylon lines had been run from the hotel high across the pools, hardly visible, but this prevented seagull interference. Some other reviews have suggested the hotel was looking tired - I disagree, both the common areas are clean and well-maintained, and our room was immaculate.Guest review byPhilipFrance
- From $429.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,155 reviewsAll staff was very friendly and there were activities almost at any time of the day. Just bear in mind the kids clubs (there are 3, depending on age) are from 3 yo and on. In the restaurant, there was a show-cooking area with freshly cooked omelettes (breakfast), pizzas and fish/meet (lunch/dinner).Guest review bytritinia_Spain

Cádiz is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe, located in southwestern Spain, on a narrow slice of land surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. It has a unique charm, blending history, culture, and stunning coastal scenery. It’s less touristy than Seville or Málaga, giving it a more authentic Spanish vibe.Guest review byAhmedGermany - 6.0
Great location and views.
Great location and views. The property is a series of apartments made to look like villas, either an upstairs with a roof terrace or a downstairs with a garden, not whole villas. The property could do with new outside furniture including a parasol for the terrace. The pool is lovely, but no furniture, so you couldn't sit by it. This would be a difficult location if you didn't drive or are not physically fit.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lovely town, with atmospheric old town.It gets busy at night, but is yotally not overly touristy in feel.A relaxed and spacious feel compared to the Costa del Sol. Ferry to Tangiers frequent and easy, for an extra option!Guest review bystefan - 10.0
The information provided by Juan and Amelia before the trip...
The information provided by Juan and Amelia before the trip was incredibly helpful, especially as we had never been there before. Suggestions for bars and restaurants was very helpful. The apartments were terrific. Clever decor and design, a range of eclectic art work (Including Juan's home made central ceiling light) which blended the history of the building with all the modern aspects of daily living. A really comfy bed which gave a great night's sleep. Also a welcoming bottle of cava and a homemade cake (I had five slices in one sitting) which was excellent. Very lovely genuine owners who care for their guests experience. Will definitely be going back.Guest review byHelenGibraltar - 6.0

It was a tired and old town with many dilapidated buildings many of the bars and cafes did not open untill lunchtime making it difficult to get a coffee. The ferry to Cadiz was very cheap and Cadiz was well worth the visitGuest review byAnonymousSpain - 10.0
It is a great place for a relaxing vacation!
It is a great place for a relaxing vacation! A nice beach (8km coast) where you can swim, relax or have a nice walk! There is also a street workout area next to the beach if you feel like working on your pullups and muscle ups! I also visited a park where I could watch flamingoes and other birds. I will go back to Chiclana one day! It was wonderful!Guest review byAnnaRussia - 8.0

Algeciras has some beautiful parts, in the old city the Moorish architecture is really quite something. There are some rougher parts sure, as with any large port town. But I found it safe, the people friendly and the food was great, especially El Taller restaurant. Nearby beach Playa el Rinconcillo was fine. But Algeciras isn't like some beautiful Mediterranean coasted resort destination, it's a fairly gritty Spanish port with some beautiful architecture and passable beaches, cheap and cheerful with easy access to TARIFA where you can get a ferry to Tangiers and visit nearby roman ruins or visit very nearby Gibraltar.Guest review byScottUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Stunning town with a ridiculous amount of excellent bars and restaurants serving top quality food at a fraction of the price you would pay in the UK. Very Spanish (obviously) and everyone super friendly and accommodating. Lots to see and do around and not far from Cádiz. You do need a car which you can park for free at the bottom of the town and then walk up - it is incredible hilly and steep so proper shoes recommended! Beautiful main plaza with fountain and tapas places and restaurants. Highly recommend.Guest review bySallyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The old town is beautifull with plenty of local people and spaniards from diffrent reagions of Spain. Not too many tourist is good news. There are delicious and trendy restaurants and tapas bars. Medina Sidonia palace is marvelous and the Church of Notre Dane of Ó, a pearl of architecture from spain, has a sweet lady guide (and very well informed).Guest review byAntonioPortugal - 10.0
Zahara de Los Atunes is a charming unspoiled little town.
Zahara de Los Atunes is a charming unspoiled little town. It suits those who are genuinely interested in Spanish life. It is unashamedly Spanish and doesn't try to compete with the brasher resorts of the Costa Del Sol. I am reluctant to recommend it to others but that is only because I want to keep it for myself.Guest review bygruffydd
