- From $143.19 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 917 reviewsThe add-ons were great. The pools and the breakfast were excellent. However, the bed could be a little more comfortable. And our room had mold around the window frame. Not just a little bit, but a lot. I know that is a problem in some parts of Spain, due to very high humidity, but it is inexcusable for a hotel that boasts a 4 Star rating. Unfortunately, I realized it when it was very late, and we were staying only one night anyway, so we didn't ask to be moved. But besides that, the hotel offers really good value for money. The sulfur pool was very relaxing and my wife loved her massage, and very reasonable price.Guest review byJULIOUnited States
- From $134.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,223 reviewsProperty was very historic and beautiful. The location could not be any better. The restaurant was also excellent. Be sure to get the room you paid for as our first room was not as expected. They graciously moved us to a superior room with balcony and a view. We visited in January which is low season and there were no crowds.Guest review byMoseleyUnited States
- From $108.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,835 reviewsWe had a double room-oh so spacious and what a fabulous view! Ou breakfasts and dinners were terrific. My wife has allergies so required some TLC. The staff rose to the occasion and went the extra mile to ensure her meal was prepared accordingly. Many thanks to the staff for doing this for us.Guest review bygregoryUnited States

Caceres is well worth a trip.Theres lots to see and much atmosphere to soak up.Nice friendly city/town with many nearby places worth a visit such as Truillo and Guadalupe......Actually the historic architecture in both Caceres and Truillo is something to write home about!..If your into nature there are literally scores of square Kms of wild flowers in the surrounding countryside thanks to light touch farming practises and this brings many insects which in turn bring many birds and other creatures...Definitely worth a trip is the national park in Monfrague so youll need to hire a car to get the best of that type of thing.Guest review bymichaelIreland - 10.0

We did not have much time in the town but we spent a few hours and it seemed to be a great town. The town is very very clean, well looked after and we felt safe walking around the town. The squares are beautiful, the plants, flowers are gorgeous!! We ate a great meal at kebab closer to the hotel Sercotel Grand Hotel. We had delicious ice cream at Heladeria ‘Augustin Mira’… loved it. The hotel is really worth staying. Beds are comfortable and the place spotless! The breakfast is the best so far. Lots of options and variety of fruits, juices, cold meats, breads and there was butter croissants and chocolate croissants. Different options of cakes, including cupcakes and the coffee, the best!!Guest review byAna Leticia PylesIreland - 8.0

Plasencia is a small town, the centre has narrow hilly streets, parking in the centre is difficult but there is plenty of free parking near to the park with an escalator to take you up the steep hill to the centre. There are several supermarkets, a Carrafeur on the North side and several smaller supermarkets on the south side. There is a river running along the East side. There are many restaurants available, fast food near to the Carrafeur and more upmarket ones in the centre. Plasencia is at the foot of the Jerte valley, where most of the cherries in Spain are grown, you can drive to the top of the valley, which takes around an hour and is very scenic.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely city, well recommended.
Lovely city, well recommended. Good food generally and we found one superb restaurant. People tend to eat later than many areas so be aware of this. Plenty to do for a 2 night stay. Very interesting place.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Entering the city not exciting., but I didn’t want to stay in a big city of Seville ( I was going north Spain). 90 minutes from airport was just perfect to recover from jet lag. Plaza Mayor very pleasant- like most of the Spanish cities. Cobbled streets, small shops, cafes- add a nice atmosphere to the city.Guest review byElizabethUnited States - 10.0

Hervás is a lively and charming little historic town, located in an area of stunning natural beauty, and conveniently located for travellers who are heading along, or across, the Ruta de la Plata highway in western Spain, not too far from the border with Portugal, at any time of the year. The town itself is very pedestrian friendly, full of culture with great restaurants, bars, shops and a great collection of sculpture and paintings in the Museo Perez Comendador-Leroux. The locals are really welcoming, the food and wine are fantastic, and it's the kind of place that gets under your skin and keeps you coming back again!Guest review byJamesSpain - 10.0

Hotel lovely but surrounding cafe restaurants were a little shoddy, a sweep of the streets now and then could go a long way, not alot of variation. Nice shops selling local produce. Recommend Dalboroque lovely little bar selling craft beers and really nice wines get some tapa there too. Run by a lovely young lady named Jessica, well worth a visit and only 2 or 3 minutes from the parador on Calle Gregorio Lopez 3Guest review byMarionUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We stayed unplanned in town because of an emergency stop due to weather conditions. The location is great in the middle of Spanish country side but really not far away from Sevilla and Merida. Both magnificant places to visit. The town is the lhome of the Ham Museum. A small one but a very well mantained educational center with a guided tour for us. We found two stores in town just selling ham, and if you go online they ship all over Europe. The hotel we stayed is a spa we would have loved to explore. Next time:)Guest review byChristaUnited States - 10.0
