The room was bare bones compared to where I'm from, but I was very comfortable. The water in the shower is not heated, but I was fine with that. I enjoyed all the food and the staff are very friendly. Try not to be late for meal times. A heads up, the condition of the ocean, wind, and tides will affect if you can snorkel or kayak in front of the resort, but that is nature! Nothing the resort can control, so go with it. Also, there is no activities on Sunday, because it's a day of rest for the staff according to their religion. And I think that's great. I also want to appreciate how when I missed the morning reef shark snorkel experience, the resort staff arrange for me to go on a snorkel trip in the afternoon. It was possible only because the tide conditions were ok. It was so nice of the staff to arrange this for me and I am so grateful for it.

An absolutely amazing resort that exceeded all expectations. It is not the cheapest in the yasawas, but we certainly felt like it was worth the money. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful (as are most fijians) and the quality of the room and other areas of the resort was great. As a diver, the resort has its own dive shop and prices are reasonable (F880 for a 6 tank package; they also have an unlimited diving package). Local dive sites were very healthy and visibility is excellent. I also very much appreciated the flourishing reef (hard corals, soft corals and abundant life) that is accessible right off the shore, with great visibility. This is perfect for extra snorkelling. We did not have quite the same experience at some other resorts in the yasawas. Also worth a mention is the food - I was sceptical at first that the compulsory meal plan would be worth it, but it certainly was. It includes a variety of breakfast and lunch options, and a 6 course dinner every night which was very impressive. Certainly a bit on the expensive side, but no regrets.

Blue Lagoon is the best resort we stayed at on our Fiji trip. It is located on Nacula island, just on the beach and there is a large house reef just in front of the resort perfect for snorkling. We stayed in a yurt with a glass top and it was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was very large with 2 sinks and a shower in the open air. Full board meal plan is mandatory and it is fabulous. You can choose between standard restaurant and Japanese restaurant for lunch and dinner. Standard one has a la cart menu while Japanese offers 10 course meal for dinner. The food is delicious in both of them. The resort has 2 pools which are great if you want to relax if the weather is not good or water cold. The reef is nice, lots of nice corals and fish in different corals. The staff is exceptional especially the music band. The girl who sings can really sing. If possible, try to book accommodation for the weekend, there is a Fiji night then, with lots of Fijian cuisine food and traditional dance performed by the staff. Welcome and farewell songs also sang by the staff are really nice touch.

Fantastic homestay, lovely hosts who cook amazing food so you'll never go hungry. They are in the midst of upgrading so can only get better. It's a newer homestay, so not many people know about it, making this a massive hidden gem. Highly underrated and absolutely should be a place to go if you're coming to this island.
