Our guesthouse was located on a beautiful and serene property that was perfect for some R&R. It was spacious yet cozy & we so appreciated the little touches left to help us feel welcome (like a bottle of local cider!). Instructions for self-check in were easy to follow and we appreciated that the space was ready for us 2h earlier than normal. The kitchen was well outfitted and good for cooking, the shower had great water pressure, and the bed was comfy. (Yes, the shower & toilet are attached to the kitchen, but that didn't bother us at all.) It was a quick drive to a nearby grocery store (Lidl) and only about 30 min to Giverny/Monet's house. We would 100% stay here again and, in fact, we really wish we had stayed more than 1 night)... I guess we'll just have to come back again one day!

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and specialises in French cuisine. First of all, the hosts Franck & Francis are as friendly as you can find. They do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location itself is astonishing. A beautiful old house, that is renovated in the important parts (bathroom, toilet) and still has a lot of its charm from the past. Our room was huge with more than enough space for our baby bed in a separate room. Breakfast is amazing and very complete. Dinner is a must book! Franck cooks delicious 3-course meals and the costs are way below a restaurant. We are definitely coming back!

For guests with children, the homestay offers outdoor play equipment. Stephanie was an excellent host nothing was too much trouble for her. Everything about the hotel was a delight.

Boasting garden views, Youza ecolodge provides accommodation with terrace, around 23 km from Chapelle Royale St-Louis. There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation features a hot tub, free WiFi and family rooms. Exceptional place. The lodges are all beautiful and impeccably done. The staff are wonderfully friendly and it is truly a special place to stay. The lodges are incredible. Such wonderful detail and all you see are trees from each window. There are little ovens, a hob and a full size fridge so plenty to make a small meal there but we had takeaway pizza from the local village. Early evening the staff lit a fire at the communal area and there were marshmallows and sticks for everyone to toast a marshmallow. There’s a box of children’s toys and some excellent beers and wine so it’s a lovely space to spend early evening. Everyone was really friendly and my children made friends with other children (despite not speaking the same language). I would not hesitate to recommend this place to everyone and will most certainly be back.
