The room decor and size. All the amenities and free stuff. The view of the river and the quiet of the place. Food was really good and seasonal. It must be really nice during spring or summer.

We stayed in the newly renovated building. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean and comfortable. We had space. It was super quiet. Right at the foot of a fantastic hike. The hostess was super nice and helpful to point me to the right hike. The dinner was also excellent.

Incredible village, One of the prettiest I have ever seen. The accommodation is perfect. Clean rooms, excellent facilities and superb location. Lots of parking. We will definitely be back for longer next time. We had dinner in the restaurant. The staff are great, really friendly and the food was excellent. The bfast was also excellent. We had a 10 month old baby with us and a cot was supplied for him as well. I highly recommend. Good idea to book dinner in advance.

Perfect location right next to the river scene. The room was clean and comfortable with a helpful fan. It was mid summer and never got very hot in the room. Breakfast is the typical French style and fresh.

Best part was Gullaume and Marine. The two hosts were amazing. They are very kind, helpful, they give good advise... in addition, they cook delicious food! Wonderful! Moreover, the location is perfect, small and beautiful french town near the water. Perfect for summer. I highly recommend this place.

A very pretty and historic village in a stunning location.

A very pretty and historic village in a stunning location. Although we visited out of season it was still quite busy and we imagine that in high season it might be very overcrowded and not very pleasant. We struggled to find a good choice of restaurant for our one evening meal there as it seemed there were several restaurants at 'Ground level' but with rather expensive menus for average food as you would expect in a tourist town. We eventually chose a Creperie which had good and generous portions at a fair price. However the location was not easy for us as retirees as it was at the top of the village and required a difficult climb and descent on either cobblestone or quite slippery steps. Fine for young people but not so good for the elderly. We can recommend an outing to La Malene - the next village for a trip on the Battalieres of the Tarn who provided a wonderful small boat trip down the river which was unforgetable.

Cute village in a stunning setting.

Cute village in a stunning setting. In early April there is tons of parking but almost nothing to eat. The bakery closes early and is not open Wednesdays. The Chateau looks like the food is amazing, but it is expensive.

We loved the friendly welcome and offer to help with cases...

We loved the friendly welcome and offer to help with cases up the stairs. Our rooms were smallish but the beds were very comfotable & we slept well. My room has a very useful table that I put all my stuff on! The view of the river Tarn is outstanding! We were able to photograph a Dipper (rare diving bird of mountain streams) from the bedroom window! There is a garden with seating that can be accessed by walking down the road if your see not a fan of steep stone stairs, like we weren't. We just loved the rural atmosphere, amazing views of The cliffs and rock pillars that make up the gorge sides. Vultures flew over them. The food is good. Home-made jams with Artisan bread; cheese and ham and hard boiled eggs made a good start to the day. plus coffee. Evening meals on the terrace over the River are totally relaxing and delicious& very popular! Very friendly staff. they do picnic lunches too, which is useful as the nearest Boulangerie is s 10 minutes drive south. As birders we loved Le Point Sublime for Vultures & Alpine Swift.
