I absolutely LOVED the water pressure of this motel. Accommodations are simple, and can appear to some outdated, however it provides basic comfort you need for a few or some days of stay. Beds were comfortable, room clean and spacious. Extra seating space available. The room does have a tea kettle, a few instant coffee packets, and a small refrigerator. There are no options for breakfast on site, however restaurants nearby are easily accessible by foot and/or car. It is quiet and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again. :)

Recently renovated, stylish hotel with excellent service and location The entire property has been beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The self check-in via code went smoothly thanks to clear communication in advance, yet it still felt like a personal welcome. Sam was particularly helpful and gave us a great recommendation for a beautiful walk near Fort William, where we stayed at the end of our trip. Breakfast was superb, with a choice between continental and full English options. There are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby, making it a perfect base, and the location is ideal for those walking the East Highland Way. Please note: as of June 2025, the Google reviews still reflect the previous owners and are not at all representative of the current experience. We would absolutely recommend this hotel. A comfortable and peaceful place to fully unwind.

Situated just a short walk from the town center, it provides a peaceful retreat with easy access to local attractions. Hosts go to extraordinary lengths to make you feel at home. Staff were very welcoming, and explained everything thoroughly. The room was large, and spotless. Bed was a single mattress on two bases, so very big! Seems very popular with bus tours as two bus loads stayed there overnight while we were there, and ot was fully booked for the foreseeable future. Hence the reason we felt lucky to get a room at short notice. Very reasonably priced. Generous with instant coffees/biscuits in room. Walking distance from supermarket.

A beautiful small hotel in which you have filling like you've stepped back into a beautiful past. Some people might not like it, but it's fantastic when you hear the creaking of the floors, as if you've stepped back into the 19th century, classic Scottish breakfast...beautiful. We took dinner in hotels pub. We had dinner at the hotel pub which serves excellent local food. A truly wonderful experience.

Very friendly locals and the Wildcat Trail was a great way to start our visit. Some restrictions east of the town because of wild fires but still the whole of the beautiful Monadhlaith Mountains to explore. Plenty of places to eat but standout was the Laggan Hotel where the food was great and the staff brilliant.

There are a few routes to walk to Kincraig, using the cycle/walking route. The Old Post Office Cafe Gallery sells absolutely wonderful food - I can highly recommend the soup with a cheese scone. Just make sure you look at the opening times as it's not open every day. The only downside is that there's nowhere to buy general provisions in Kincraig, for this you need to head into Kingussie, which is an 8 minute drive away as the cycle/walking path unfortunately doesn't go that far

Ours was a whistlestop tour, mainly to get our heads down for the night after a 5 hour drive. The village is beautiful with lots to see and do.
