"I highly recommend Delphi to everyone who is interested in history and culture. The Achaeological Site and the Archaeological Museum are very interesting. It's a good idea to pre-order tickets to avoid waiting at the entrance. The nature is extremely beautiful, the views at Mount Parnassus and the Gulf of Corinth are simply breathtaking. My husband and I greatly enjoyed eating at taverna Dion - they have delicious food, including set menus at reasonable prices. And if you want to have a snack, coffee or something sweet, you can go to the Telesope cafe. As the name implies, you can try one of the telescopes they have there and enjoy the beautiful view. The staff at both Dion and Telescope is very nice and makes the guests feel welcome and appreciated."

"Chalkida is a unique city with a canal and an old bridge famous for its "crazy waters" meaning the high and low tide which you can actually see . It has beautiful cafés on the promenade in front of the canal fantastic shopping, lots of pedestrian streets for good quality shopping, great food. It is a great escape from Athens for a weekend or a couple of days at the entrance of Evia island. You can go to further destinations in Evia easily. I would highly recommend the city for a short stay. Bear in mind that it is difficult to get around by car but the parking spots are very affordable. I would recommend the seaside of Lefkanti 20 min away"

"Arachova is a pretty mountain tourist village which is only a short drive from Delphi, giving you the chance to arrive early and/or stay until closing to avoid the crowds. Good restaurants (recommend The Agnantio Taverna for traditional food) and variety of shops. There is plenty of accommodation to choose from in this area. We stayed in Kastalia Country Home, a lovely rural holiday apartment within walking distance of the center. Besides Delphi, we visited the very impressive Corycian Cave which is well worth a visit (but the dirt road is bad) and Hosios Loukas monastery."

The harbor can't accommodate large boats so it's very serene with lovely views and a quaint town. I would like to come back here and stay for a week just to relax."

"Pension Posidonia is really beautiful - we had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, surrounded by a garden full of oleander and other flowers. The free sunbeds and umbrellas are on the doorstep, the beach is lovely, and the views are stunning. We swam all day and sunbathed then wandered a 5 minute walk to good seafood restaurants overlooking the sea. Shops are even closer, everywhere was very accessible. Our delightful host recommended Louis, one of the many restaurants, and was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful in every way. She speaks excellent English, and ordered us our taxi to the airport when we - reluctantly! - had to go home. Definitely 5 stars!"

An excellent hotel, brand new, with amasing views of Livadia and the surrounding hills. Large rooms, clean, comfy beds. The location is excellent as it allows you to walk a few steps down and be right at the KRYA springs, rivers and ponds as well as cafes, restaurants. The main part of Livadia (main square with all the stores and more restaurants) is only an additional 5 mins walk. The hotel has an excellent underground garage so once there you do not really need to worry about your car anymore. Breakfast was great. As the manager (George) said "here we do not cook, we create"; he was absolutely right. The staff (all the staff) were extremely polite, helpful and upbeat. We spend two great days there, every night out at tavernas with live music, great wine and great food. All in all, a great hotel to spend time in Livadia.

Everything! All the staff was amazing! Rooms are very spacious and cleaning ladies are doing great job! Everything was very clean!
