It was peaceful and had all the necessary amenities for an independent holiday and/or personal retreat. The swimming pool and the wiifi were top quality. The surroundings and the views were also great. Had my own sheltered parking spot. A special mention for Ms Marina, who runs this place and treated me like a relative ( in the best sense).. Housekeeping was good and all eployees were kind. P.S. Must also.mention that Lino is much more than a "good boi"!

The staffs were super kind and the location is perfect for the airshow. I was there for Athens Flying Week airshow. The location is really close to the airshow, there are markets and restuarants near the hotel. I didn't have time to do the laundry by myself, but the staffs were kind enough to get my laundry to the laundromat. The parking was easy. Overall, I had great time staying in this hotel. Highly recommended.

A really nice experience staying at the "Kentrikon" hotel. It is literally right in the middle of Chalkida which is convenient since you do not have a car for a walkthrough into the city. Ive stayed in the area before & fancied a more elevated location this time. It’s very easy to drive down into Town for an evening meal or beers on the quayside. The purpose of this stay was to enjoy the nearby Athens Flying Week Airshow at HAF Tanagra

Chalkida is a lovely small city.

Chalkida is a lovely small city. Easy to explore Evia, but still lots of things to do within the city. Chalkida offers historical, religious, shopping, restaurants all within walking distance. Has a buzz. Not too touristy.

Just an incredible place.

Just an incredible place. The waters were lovely, seeing a lot of incredible marine life! The backdrop was amazing, with Mountains and being next to the water. The main promenade is perfect. So busy and bustling at night, with just people enjoying the restaurants, then coffee lounge bars. I didn't get any 'dodgy' vibes. The prices were incredibly good, in fact I would say on the cheaper side! The main shopping area, with a long shopping street was another lovely area. With a lot of shops, cafes and little food/cafe options. We had lunch a few times at - ΜΠΟΥΓΑΤΣΟΠΩΛΕΙΟ ΤΟ ΧΡΥΣΟ. Incredibly priced and lovely food! A nice walk up to the Karababa castle. A nice place to visit, with plenty of history behind it. The Karababa Castle Architectural Sculptures Exhibition was also a great place to see at the top of the castle. I was staying here for the Athens Air Show, which sadly ended in tragedy. If the show goes ahead in the future, I will be back and staying in Chalkida again, this is a perfect location, only 20 minutes down the road.

It was very beautiful all the area around the old bridge.

It was very beautiful all the area around the old bridge. We tried very nice food-fish at Delfinia and have very nice places for coffee and sweet treats (crepes, ice cream et.c.). Very easy to walk around and the taxis are very easy to find and cheap. The market is easy accessible aqnd have nice clothes and other things. Overall very nice visit for short stay.

it was my 3rd time in Chalkida: its a 100.000 inhabitants...

it was my 3rd time in Chalkida: its a 100.000 inhabitants town and its typical Greek city: dirty, loud, traffic out of control - every driver is doing what he wants. be careful when you cross the road by foot!! you have a very clean and calm shopping mall and a tourist area on the beach where is a lot of Restaurants. unfortunately, the later the evening, the louder the music. we were in Mostar meeting friends and you could not understand your own word. whats sense of so loud music in a Restaurant? around Chalkida there are a lot of wonderful, peaceful places. visit the beach areas or the Castle Cafe for a good cup! prices in most restaurants are very fair, but be careful not to be tricked: especially when you choose fish, ASK BEFORE what it will cost!

Chalkida is a unique city with a canal and an old bridge...

Chalkida is a unique city with a canal and an old bridge famous for its "crazy waters" meaning the high and low tide which you can actually see . It has beautiful cafés on the promenade in front of the canal fantastic shopping, lots of pedestrian streets for good quality shopping, great food. It is a great escape from Athens for a weekend or a couple of days at the entrance of Evia island. You can go to further destinations in Evia easily. I would highly recommend the city for a short stay. Bear in mind that it is difficult to get around by car but the parking spots are very affordable. I would recommend the seaside of Lefkanti 20 min away

The location was very convenient near the road as we were just passing Chalkida to another place. It was in a quiet neighbourhood with some places to eat nearby. The owner was very kind and sent some instructions to get the keys very helpful. The apartament was clean, with a good shower, with shower gel and shampoo, a big fridge, and air conditioning in the living room and one of the rooms, which was enough for us in the only night we spent there.

The hotel is next to a small beach on a great bay for swimming in clear sea water. Half a dozen local tavernas on the same small street. It has three pools, one big enough for serious swimming. Beach towels are provided. The decor is a combination of rather old-fashioned and ultra modern. Staff very helpful and friendly. The location is ideal, between the airport and Delphi.

Service was incredible, we were stuck with our planning in greece and the host was so kind to invite us for a tea and discuss it in person. The rest of the appartement was also excellent, with a very good bed, just the dog that likes to give you a warm welcome;)

Breakfast and lunch had many options from local to international delicacies. The location is quiet and located on the beach while also only being a 5 min drive from Chalkida. Rooms are fresh and the bathroom was exceptional.
