Our stay was magical! Booked a suite for our anniversary, and we're surprised with an upgrade to a better suite when we arrived. I had also requested a bottle of wine for our celebrations, which was graciously provided along with other goodies. The suite was lovely, comfortable, and plenty of space to enjoy yourself. The view and location are truly breath-taking. And of course, the private heated pool was an incredible feature. May isn't quite warm enough for a long swim, but I can imagine it is perfection in the summer. Last but not least, the staff was amazing throughout our stay. Absolutely wonderful people who make you feel welcome & at ease the moment you arrive. They all worked hard to ensure our stay was an unforgettable one. Highly recommend booking a room!

I can honestly say that this was the best holiday we’ve had in recent years. Lefkada is such a beautiful place, and being able to enjoy it this much was thanks to the wonderful staff of this hotel. A very special thanks to Efi, who helped us with everything in the kindest and warmest way possible. The suite we stayed in had an amazing view and was spotless. Later, when we decided to extend our holiday, we had to change rooms, and that room was also perfectly clean and comfortable. Everything was beyond our expectations. Thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable!

Plenty of choice that catered for dairy and gluten free, low fat options. Staff accommodating to preference for timing of eggs to be cooked if wanted more hard boiled or to use less oil in fried options. Lovely location overlooking the pool, and staff were friendly and very helpful, speaking good English. I usually can not bear for music to be played around the pool, but the playlist was soothing and not too loud making it tolerable. Rooms were spotless and a good size with modern showers and electric blinds. As well as a good size fridge and bottled water provided.

The people are just so kind and sweet! The Hotel style is maybe a bit outdated, but it's just so clean and taken care of to the tiniest detail. You really can tell that the owner and the employees love working here! While we stayed there for a week we never saw one frown, it adds up to the whole vibe. Everyone is friendly, laid back and happy. I definitely come back to Vassiliki and will stay again at Porto Fico Hotel!

One night at this beautiful villa nestled in the hills of Lefkada, and it was simply truly unforgettable. The panoramic view is absolutely breathtaking — overlooking the sea, the town, and the surrounding lagoons. If you rotate your head you can see to eight different contexts: the kind of scenery that remains with you. The villa offers plenty of parking space, which is a real plus. The breakfast was a nice surprise: rich, fresh, and delicious, clearly prepared with care and local ingredients. There’s also a lovely swimming pool, perfect if you want to relax while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. I only stayed for one night, but this place truly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for beauty, calm, and comfort in Lefkada.

the hotel was in the very center of the old town, with easy access to all restaurants and the main street. we explored the island by bus, and the hotel was very close to the bus station. the staff was wonderful! they helped with all our questions and requests, and were so friendly and welcoming. really made our stay wonderful! also really enjoyed the pool as the weather was very warm

Lefkadio was amazing, Sonia was so so helpful, friendly and professional and made me feel very welcome. Every area was immaculate, my room was beautiful with everything I needed with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the pool. Lefkadio is right next to the bakery, a 5 minute walk to 2 large supermarkets and 10 minutes into the town. Thank you so much for making my stay fabulous.

Great island. We have visited Lefkada several times now. The west coast beaches are amazing. Food is great and there are some awesome restaurants and bars on the island. It is a hub for sailing charters, so it can get VERY busy on hand over days.

A great city with a lot of attractions, including sailing and swimming with the fish around the nearby islands. The food is excellent at the local tavernas. I highly recommend dining at these local spots if you want an authentic experience. Additionally, taking a boat trip from the harbor to the nearby famous beaches is a must-do. I recommend booking the smaller boats that hold up to 50 people for a much better experience!

Vasiliki harbor is calm in the morning and windy in the afternoon. This is what makes it ideal for both beginners and advanced wind surfers and sailors. The large horse shoe shaped bay has good tavernas and restaurants on both ends of the beach promenade. Within 20 to 30 minutes of Vasiliki there are more beautiful parts of Lefkada well worth visiting: Sivote harbor to the East, and Porto Katsiki to the West.

I absolutely fell in love with Agios Nikitas.

I absolutely fell in love with Agios Nikitas. I have been to many Greek Islands over the past 35 years and I have to say this has to be one of my favourites. Agios Nikitas's Main Street down to the beach is simply stunning, it is lined with beautiful shrubs, trees, shops, tavernas, restaurants, houses & other accommodation. It is quintessentially Greek. Pretty chequered tablecloths with beautifully painted chairs. The walk down to the beautiful sandy and turquoise sea beach is gorgeous. There are a few bars and restaurants along the front too, looking out to sea and the mainline in the distance. We visited restaurants Asperous, Portoni, To Steki, Sapfo plus a couple of others. Our favourite bar was Azure overlooking the beach, great beers, Aperol & Sarti spritzes! Will definitely be return to Agios Nikitas. Simply Stunning!!

Friendly and a bit away from the bustle of Lefkada town but...

Friendly and a bit away from the bustle of Lefkada town but very convenient to get into Lefkada in about 10 minutes by car. A couple of local food stores and various other essential shops including pharmacy in Lygia but need Lefkada for the bigger supermarkets and for true shopping experience if/when you need that. Lygia has a lovely little fishing port that is walkable with good eating facilities. The better and bigger beaches need a car to get to, but Lygia beach is very swimmable, although a little close to the road and so there will be some traffic noise. We love Lygia.

We picked it because the price was better than being in town...

We picked it because the price was better than being in town (or on the coast to the west). But the distance from town was quite short, so no problem at all to be in Tsoukalades. Meanwhile the village itself had a good set of stores and restaurants such that you didn't need to go in to town to eat. But when we did go it the distance wasn't a hindrance.

A perfect place for a quiet few days on the beach.

A perfect place for a quiet few days on the beach. The bonus is fabulous restaurants and a supermarket and bakery for daily supplies. Best if you have a car but do-able by taxi. Best restaurant was Taverna Zolithros.

Our favorite beach was Avali because it was very peaceful...

Our favorite beach was Avali because it was very peaceful and uncrowded. We ate at Panoramic View almost every day, where the food is delicious, and they serve the best homemade lemonade we've ever had and the baklava is a dream, even better than in Turkey!! It's much simpler to slip through and reach the beach with a scooter or an ATV...so I think that next year we will rent one:)

Lovely view from a big outdoor seating area (room 1) in...

Lovely view from a big outdoor seating area (room 1) in quiet placement where you need a car to get around. Love the nearest beach with a nice cafe. Both tavernas in the village of Athani good value for money, fresh and well tasing food, even though simple places. Very charming and authentic. Helpful hosts.
