Beautiful little gem of a hotel. Just by the sea . New , bright. Above all are the people working there. The front desk hospitality , care and service is amazing. I left my jewelry box in the safe and very quickly afterwards I got a phone from the hotel about it and later swiftly received it back . I recommend this beautiful place with beautiful people wholeheartedly!!!

Beautiful renovated 19th century neoclassical building. An impressive collection of antiques but with lots of modern fixtures that make the stay comfortable. Plentiful and varied breakfast – the landlady is a magician with pies! Spacious, clean and well-appointed rooms with balconies. Close to the town center, shops, museums and restaurants. Large free public parking near-by. Very helpful, courteous and efficient staff. I want to point out that staff went out of their way to help us resolve an issue that in no way implicated them.

The breakfast was amazing. Fresh and delicious. The personnel, especially the front desk were efficient as well as friendly and helpful. We did not use the spa facilities, but the hotel was an ideal base for touring the archeological sites and the superb countryside in this part of the Peleponnese.

We had a deluxe room on a high floor with a lovely balcony facing the sea. Views were nice. The room was a great size, had a safe, tea & coffee making facilities and plenty of storage space for luggage and clothes. Nice bathroom with everything working well. Lovely breakfast and what a pleasant surprise to be able to carry your breakfast tray across the road to the covered terrace with views down to the city and the harbour. Friendly helpful staff. We also loved having access to the sister hotel Karalis Beach Hotel with its beautiful beach bar and sun lounge area, only a short walk from the Karalis City Hotel. We had a car and found parking easily in a small street just opposite.

This property is amazing. The view (!!!), the location (very close to several beautiful beaches and small villages), the apartment itself (very functional and with a small but equipped kitchen, with a small balcony next to the bed from which you can admire the sea as soon as you open your eyes.in the morning and with a lovely terrace with breathtaking views) and, last but not least, the host who was very kind and provided us with information about places to go and things to do and helped us when we had an issue with our car. We already look forward to coming back here!

Kalamata is a local hub in a rich, fertile, agricultural area. Our group of 4 ranged from 27 to 57 years old and found Kalamata was a great place to catch our breath and relax, surrounded by beautiful restaurants, bars and walks. Nearby towns boast magnificent castles, seaside views and azure blue waters. Not too far from Mount Olympia, Spartica and car hire was easy. Driving was easy as the roads are not busy in April and the main roads are exceptional, thanks to investment in infrastructure by the EU. Local drivers are patient and everyone drives slowly and cautiously around busy parts of town. I enjoyed the best Pizza I've ever eaten on the bayside walk. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and I was truly sad to leave.

The central square is adjacent to the harbour and is full of tables for the surrounding restaurants. The town centre is clean and tidy. The castle is extensive and takes several hours to explore. It includes 3 museum buildings.

Very pretty and charming area so close to mountain and beaches. And short drive from Kalamata. Had cafes restaurants even a lot of them closed for season when we were there. For quiet relaxing stay, we could spend more time easily. Even hiking next time. Beaches were close and water was very clean.

All the villas give you the privacy of having your own...

All the villas give you the privacy of having your own relaxing space near a very popular beach. Each villa has a garage for your car which allows the car to be protected and kept cool during the day. The villas are kept clean and serviced daily. Above all you have Konstantina which is your host and she is always willing to assist you with anything which you may require. There are many restaurants within a 5 km radius of the property. You are close to one of Greece's most famous beaches Voidokoilia and also Gialova which has many restaurants and bars. In summary the property is highly recommended for someone who would like to visit Messinia one of Greece's most beautiful areas.

Stoupa is small and quiet but very pretty and has plenty of tavernas. There are other charming villages up and down the coast that are worth a visit and the scenery is dramatic in places. There is a cycle path from Stoupa to Agios Nikolaos which is a very pleasant and not too taxing excursion.

Majestic with a castle and the crystal blue waters as a backdrop. Methoni is for everyone - it has history, beach, shopping, friendly and welcoming people and amazing food. I highly recommend making a reservation at Castro (a reservation because you will not get a table unless you do) for a delightful cuisine and spectacular view at sunset. You will not regret it. I also recommend the Rex right by the beach. Excellent food. Enjoy!

Nice town, beaches in close proximity, old Town 5' from the center with amazing view, ancient places around. Also, famous places in less than an hour drive (Voidokoilia Beach, Costa Navarino hotels, Foinikounta, Pylos, etc.). Farming products (one of the world's best olive oil), nice food and relaxing holidays.

The local Taverna along Artaki bay has excellent traditional food and the best view of the bay and Koroni. We loved to walk through the little streets and steps going up to the castle and monastry with lovely views over Koroni and Zaga beach the other side that you can walk to.

It is a bit of an odd place. The beaches are beautiful and picturesque, however there are no facilities on the beaches (no sunbeds, beachbars or even toilets). Any beaches with facilities are private to the exclusive Navarino Resort, and therefore you have no access. A lot of it is a nature conservation area, which is probably why its so beautiful, and walking around is lovely, but there isn't much else to do. The restaurants are very good, and a cut above those we encountered elsewhere in Greece - bit more expensive but definitely worth it. We were due to stay 5 days, but moved on after 3 as there just wasn't enough to do.

I was after a bit of down-time out after a long cycle with several friends, so the quiet little rural seaside town suited me. The harbour is being structurally rebuilt so I couldn't get a boat out to Proti island which was a disappointment. There are a few good beaches along the generally rugged coastline and some lovely restaurants in town. The agricultural nature of area means that it is not consistently pristine and there is a fair amount of farmers' litter evident. It would be ideal to have had a car for more exploring.
