An amazing boutique hotel located close to the sea, near the historic port. The interiors are beautifully designed, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. The à la carte breakfast is wonderful. There is private parking available. The staff is exceptional – always smiling and incredibly friendly, especially Μαρία at reception. I will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing place. The hotel located in the middle of the Taygatos mountain, not far from Kalamata, is incredibly comfortable. After a beautiful visit of Mystras, the way through the mountain to get to Denthis hotel is breath taking. We were welcome by the three most adorable, smiling and welcoming ladies who immediately did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. We had the most comfortable modern hotel on one hand and the charm of a family hotel feel from those ladies on the other hand, and that was magical. Being able to swim in the pool after a hot and exhausting day was so invigorating. The breakfast is varied, generous and delicious, served on a terrace with a nice mountain view. Very nice dinner too. The Suite bedroom is a must, spacious, high-quality linen and cushions, very comfortable, with a large terrace. We slept like babies. Our 10 years old son loved the place and the kindness of the staff. We will definitely be back, but we will stay more than one night this time. A big thank you and bravo to the Denthis ladies!

We loved the location and the property!!! The stunning views of the sea from our balcony, as well as, the well kept gardens, the pool and its amenities. The breakfast buffet was extensive with delicious offerings for everyone’s tastes and dietary needs. The room was large and well appointed with very comfortable modern furnishings; the bathroom had both a separate shower and bathtub. The rooms and the whole property were extremely clean!!!! All the staff were cheerful and went out of their way to help us with our questions any of our needs!!!

Kalamata is a local hub in a rich, fertile, agricultural...

Kalamata is a local hub in a rich, fertile, agricultural area. Our group of 4 ranged from 27 to 57 years old and found Kalamata was a great place to catch our breath and relax, surrounded by beautiful restaurants, bars and walks. Nearby towns boast magnificent castles, seaside views and azure blue waters. Not too far from Mount Olympia, Spartica and car hire was easy. Driving was easy as the roads are not busy in April and the main roads are exceptional, thanks to investment in infrastructure by the EU. Local drivers are patient and everyone drives slowly and cautiously around busy parts of town. I enjoyed the best Pizza I've ever eaten on the bayside walk. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and I was truly sad to leave.

The central square is adjacent to the harbour and is full of tables for the surrounding restaurants. The town centre is clean and tidy. The castle is extensive and takes several hours to explore. It includes 3 museum buildings.

Very pretty and charming area so close to mountain and beaches. And short drive from Kalamata. Had cafes restaurants even a lot of them closed for season when we were there. For quiet relaxing stay, we could spend more time easily. Even hiking next time. Beaches were close and water was very clean.

Stoupa is small and quiet but very pretty and has plenty of tavernas. There are other charming villages up and down the coast that are worth a visit and the scenery is dramatic in places. There is a cycle path from Stoupa to Agios Nikolaos which is a very pleasant and not too taxing excursion.

All the villas give you the privacy of having your own relaxing space near a very popular beach. Each villa has a garage for your car which allows the car to be protected and kept cool during the day. The villas are kept clean and serviced daily. Above all you have Konstantina which is your host and she is always willing to assist you with anything which you may require. There are many restaurants within a 5 km radius of the property. You are close to one of Greece's most famous beaches Voidokoilia and also Gialova which has many restaurants and bars. In summary the property is highly recommended for someone who would like to visit Messinia one of Greece's most beautiful areas.

Majestic with a castle and the crystal blue waters as a backdrop. Methoni is for everyone - it has history, beach, shopping, friendly and welcoming people and amazing food. I highly recommend making a reservation at Castro (a reservation because you will not get a table unless you do) for a delightful cuisine and spectacular view at sunset. You will not regret it. I also recommend the Rex right by the beach. Excellent food. Enjoy!

A delightful small seaside town.

A delightful small seaside town. Quiet at the beginning of the season, it was charming to stroll around, looking in the few artisan shops and enjoying meals in a couple of very good restaurants. The castle, convent and monastery at the top of the hill are well worth a visit - an unspoilt, free piece of medieval history complete with friendly nuns offering delicious home-made Greek delight.

It is a bit of an odd place.

It is a bit of an odd place. The beaches are beautiful and picturesque, however there are no facilities on the beaches (no sunbeds, beachbars or even toilets). Any beaches with facilities are private to the exclusive Navarino Resort, and therefore you have no access. A lot of it is a nature conservation area, which is probably why its so beautiful, and walking around is lovely, but there isn't much else to do. The restaurants are very good, and a cut above those we encountered elsewhere in Greece - bit more expensive but definitely worth it. We were due to stay 5 days, but moved on after 3 as there just wasn't enough to do.

Nice town, beaches in close proximity, old Town 5' from the center with amazing view, ancient places around. Also, famous places in less than an hour drive (Voidokoilia Beach, Costa Navarino hotels, Foinikounta, Pylos, etc.). Farming products (one of the world's best olive oil), nice food and relaxing holidays.

I was after a bit of down-time out after a long cycle with several friends, so the quiet little rural seaside town suited me. The harbour is being structurally rebuilt so I couldn't get a boat out to Proti island which was a disappointment. There are a few good beaches along the generally rugged coastline and some lovely restaurants in town. The agricultural nature of area means that it is not consistently pristine and there is a fair amount of farmers' litter evident. It would be ideal to have had a car for more exploring.
