Elleny, Vivi, and Zoe went above and beyond with their recommendations, kindness, and generosity, making my stay truly memorable. The great breakfast served at the hotel was the perfect start to each day, complementing the exceptional service provided by the staff. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Elleny, Vivi, and Zoe's local knowledge helped me explore the area and discover hidden gems. We picked the hotel at random, but was it a lucky choice! The staff, from reception to waiters, to maintenance, were brilliant! Devoted, helpful, smiling and friendly. Location was just perfect! Only 10 minutes away from all the buzz and fun, yet quite and relaxing from it all. Always a parking space available. Last but not least, their kitchen is better than most of the tavernas downtown! And there are dozens and dozens of great options all over the island! Thank you!!

We stayed in Skiathos in the peak of the season in July for a week and one of the most pleasant choices we made throughout was our time spent in Nimfi. The hotel offers well-cared for amenities, the pool is great, the parking is ok, the beach bar is sweet, but the top-notch element are the rooms with a private tub - 15 out of 10 stars for these rooms' arrangement, interior and view...oh, the view! All in all, I'm yearning summer'26 coming sooner, so I'd be able to come back to your beautiful place and sunny island :)

    Lovely hotel with great staff and facilities. Easy walk to a fantastic beach. Travelling with teenagers so it was great for them to be able to come and go as they pleased. We ate really well at the local restaurants but it's also super easy to jump on the bus into Skiathos Town. You don't really need to hire a car if you are happy to stick to the south of the island. We were leaving on a late ferry so stayed by the pool for the last day and used the shower/changing facilities available.

    Spacious and clean rooms. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast was a great start to the day. It is located across from a beach with a tavern, canteen and water activities. 20 minutes to the centre by car, or a ten minute walk to the main road to get a bus. The bus system is very simple and takes you everywhere on the island. Beautiful island, vibrant and busy. It is a must taking a tour around the islands Aenao sailing was simply breathtaking and Andoni the captain was very knowledgeable.

    So much to see and do. Boat trips , bars, restaurants, shops, ferries etc. One bus stop from airport at 3 euros cost! Maybe not for you if you want to be on the beach every day though we did the water taxi to Tsougrias beach one day and the bus to vrommonilos beach another day.

    This is a lovely, fairly quiet area which is exactly what we wanted. There are plenty of bars if you need them and very good bus services if you want to go further afield. The beaches are wonderful and everyone was super helpful and friendly.

    Very relaxed. Good selection of restaurants and pool bars for such a small place (largely one road with a mini market, restaurants and accommodation along it). 2 well known restaurants; Infinity Blue and Crazy Rooster. Lesser known is Argento which is a fantastic pool bar and restaurant. Xanthi pool bar is also great, with super friendly owners. Lovely beach with warm, shallow and clear waters (visited in August). Boat hire, pedalo, SUP and kayak hire available from the beach. A very popular beach bar called 'The Beach House' and Handy bus stop nearby for easy access to other beaches e.g. Aghia Paraskevi and Troulos, restaurants and Skiathos Town.

    Achladies beach is lovely sandy beach with a couple of bars and eateries, the octopus which has fav food and Mojo which is a local bar with food. There are sunbeds and you can get a water taxi to skiathos town and back every half hour. There is also a supermarket nearby and a bakery. The supermarket will deliver your goods of over 25 euros which is a great service. It also has water sports and is lovely for a swim

    Loved Troulos, quiet but plenty of taverns within walking distance, nearby supermarkets, lovely beach within walking distance. Close to bus- stops at all the beaches along coast, nothing not to love!! Can’t wait to return!!

    Koukounaries is really just a single (quite busy) road that...

    Koukounaries is really just a single (quite busy) road that runs behind a lake from one end of the Koukounaries beach to the other. The beach itself is fine golden sand with lots of facilities (loungers, boat and pedallo hire, bars and cafes), there is also public toilets in the centre of the beach ( a rarity in Greece) and is about 1km long. It gets very busy during the day. Access is easy as there is a regular bus from Skiathos town that stops along the road. There is also a Water Bus boat service from Skiathos town harbour ( cost E7 each way PO). There is also a car park at the Western end of the road but it does get filled up early. The main road is home to numerous bars, restaurants, hotels and apartment blocks and two small supermarkets. There is a small scruffy section in the centre of the road where there is a derelict hotel and apartment block that needs tidying up. For those who like there beaches more stripped back there is also 4 or 5 beaches on the northern section of the peninsula within a 20 or 30 minute walk from the road. You can walk along the shore of the lake but you cannot easily walk all around because of thick vegetation at the eastern end.

    First of all this accommodation is far from being 5 stars. Rooms have not been renovated for years, the bathroom is so old and full of mold, needs an urgent upgrade. The hotel does not have a fitness, you have to go to another hotel if you want to use it. We booked a Suite with Sea View but upon arrival they told us it is no longer available and they give us another room for the first 3 days then we can move to the one we booked. Staff was very nice at first, but then they ignore us and not answering the phone or messages. Unfortunately, we had to leave 2 days earlier because of terrible news, my husband’s dad passed away. They didn't do anything to partially refund us. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.

    This is an excellent hotel, where we have stayed overnight on a number of occasions. It gives terrific value: superb location, great food, comfortable rooms at a very good price. But what makes it truly outstanding is the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who run it. They always make us feel very welcome.

    One of the Perfect Greek Island Getaways

    One of the Perfect Greek Island Getaways Skiathos is an island that combines beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and authentic Greek charm. The town center is lively, with narrow streets full of tavernas, cafés, and small shops, while the port area offers stunning views, especially at sunset. The island is very easy to explore by car or scooter, and parking is generally convenient. Beaches like Koukounaries and Banana Beach are quite busy, although the water is crystal clear and the sand golden. For those who prefer peace and quiet, there are also hidden gems such as Mandraki and Elias Beach, which I highly recommend for a more relaxing experience away from the crowds. Hospitality is warm and welcoming everywhere, and the food is excellent—fresh seafood, traditional Greek dishes, and plenty of options for all tastes. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing holiday or a dynamic stay with nightlife and activities, Skiathos has something to offer. Highly recommended for couples, families, and groups of friends alike!
