Really nice stylish hotel. Very clean. Friendly attentive staff throughout. Room was modern and nicely decorated, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. We slept really well. Tasty and varied breakfast was also high standard. Pool area looked great. there were plenty of sunbeds available and also many nice beaches nearby. Obliged us with late check out, much appreciated. I recently had the most incredible stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was met with exceptional service that exceeded all my expectations. The highlight of my trip was celebrating my birthday during my stay. To my surprise, the staff surprised me at midnight with a mouthwatering cake that was the best I've ever tasted! It was a thoughtful gesture that made my birthday extra special. Dimitra, a member of the staff, was incredibly helpful and professional, always wearing a smile. Mike at the bar crafted the most amazing cocktails on the island, if not in all of Greece. The reception girls, including Sotiris, was attentive and assisted us with everything we needed. Our room was clean and comfortable, and Alexandros ensured that our stay was exceptional. The personalized experience provided by the staff was truly outstanding.

Exciting Holidays for Everyone

Surrounded by clear blue waters, Zakynthos (or Zante) is the 3rd largest island in the Ionian Sea, named after the son of Dardanus. This green island features mountain villages, fertile plains and gorgeous beaches.

Zakynthos was destroyed after the Great Earthquake of 1953 and rebuilt according to an anti-seismic code. Some of the buildings which were not damaged are St. Dionysios Cathedral, the National Bank and the church of St. Nicholas.

The island has one of the most famous Greek attractions - the spectacular Navagio Beach. Accessible only by boat, the 'Shipwreck' is an isolated beach with white pebbles and turquoise waters.

Set amongst olive groves and vineyards, the tourist resort of Tsilivi is full of traditional taverns and bars. The beach village of Laganas is a real gem for young people that love clubbing and are looking for a hotel on the Strip, but also for families seeking a shallow beach and warm waters. The Caretta turtle visits Laganas beach during its reproductive period and lays its eggs on the soft, golden sand.

My mother and I spent 11 nights/12 days at this hotel, and I definitely have something to share. First, the hotel is only 5 minutes away from the airport. After our 27-hour journey from Ukraine, this proximity was a great relief. The sounds of takeoff and landing don't disturb. The beach offers an incredible view of flying planes. We arrived around 2 p.m., had lunch, and then checked in right away. Our room was near the reception area and had a terrace with a view of the smaller pool. We had everything we needed there. The food was varied and incredibly delicious. Everything was always fresh, appetising, and there were plenty of options. There were different types of meat and fish, as well as seafood. Several times in the evening, the chef prepared gyros in front of the guests. There was always food available at the snack bar by the pool. Sandwiches, ice cream, and other dishes were available in the refrigerators during the bar's operating hours. You definitely won't go hungry here! The staff is very friendly and speaks English well. Some waiters even know the word ‘thank you’ in Ukrainian. What I liked most was the absence of russians at the hotel. If there were any russians, they were invisible)) The hotel's clientele is European: Hungarians, Czechs, Poles, Germans, British... The hotel grounds are clean and tidy. Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily. Beach towels are provided for a €10 deposit per towel, plus a non-refundable €3 charge per towel. Replacement of these towels is free of charge. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk at a leisurely pace. The hotel doesn't have its own beach. In general, there are no private beaches because loggerhead turtles nest there. Areas with turtle eggs are fenced off and monitored by ecologists. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the water is very clean - refreshing in the morning and very warm in the evening. 2 sun loungers + umbrella cost €15-€20 per day from ‘private entrepreneurs’.

First of all BIG BIG thumbs up for the staff, specialy receptionists: Iota, Kostas, Jenny and Mary ! We got free upgrade of our room on arrival ! Also slightly later check-out at the end was arranged without a problem and no extra fee ! And we also recived a welcome gift at the first evening ! - you can change the beach towels everyday - good, delicious food, plenty of choice - ice cream in the restaurant / bars - shower has good preassure, quick adjustment of temperature, good drainage - good pillows (big plus for me !) and very comfortable beds ! - noise isolation was good enough - parking infront of hotel - good / OK location (couple of mins to the beach and some 5 to main street) - good enough WiFi throught entire area of the hotel property - very quick waiters, not crowdy restaurant - everything is clean - friendly and flexible staff - big room with enough space to store all the things / clothes - good working AC - big lobby area with many sofa's to wait upon early arrival or later departure

We stayed in the room which shared an infinity pool with another 3 rooms. It was nothing short of amazing. The view is beautiful, and the room didn’t disappoint at all. There’s a small cove at the hotel so you can go in the sea too. Breakfast is perfect, something for everyone, full English, yoghurt, fruits, cakes, pastries. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Hotel has a bar offering food too. The view of turtle island is beautiful. Highly recommend

We loved our stay at Lesante Classic. It was our wedding anniversary and they surprised us with some fruit and wine. The suite was very spacious and had its own jacuzzi on the deck. The breakfast every morning was amazing and the staff were so friendly, especially Stella. We would definitely recommend you to stay there, especially if you don’t have a car, as the town of Tsilivi is within walking distance and there’s many restaurants, bars and shops.

The town of Zante is lively with plenty of shopping and restaurants. The beaches and water are amazing. Most offer sun beds with amenities to spend the day. Boat trips to caves and swimming spots are a must!

We enjoyed our week stay here although dead centre Laganas...

We enjoyed our week stay here although dead centre Laganas beach is not the prettiest if you are look for long stretches of sand! However there are so many nearby choices and the island is easy to travel around on. Even a "hike" lol to the nearby Turtle Island is manageable but you have to get there early as it is a tiny beach (obviously as it is within the sanctuary and there is a EU6 to enter) worth a visit though. Laganas has plenty of friendly cafes restaurants etc. It definitely is a Tourist Town but not as chaotically busy and crowded as Zante and further afield (Sept). We were devastated by the TRASH everywhere though. That is shocking and something the municipality really needs to address. If you can get past that, Laganas is a quaint tourist town with plenty to offer and a VERY HAPPENING night life 😉🎶

Too busy with British tourists, lacks nice restaurants and the beaches are a long way away from most of the hotels. Vasilikos much nicer all-round and we even preferred Laganas over Tsilivi even though that was super busy as well with drunken teenagers. Water park was meh also.

Argasi is a small town with lots to offer.

Argasi is a small town with lots to offer. There is a good mix of bars & nightclubs, but not too lively. Great restaurants the length of the town & all within walking distance, except the one on the hill, but they will collect & return you from your hotel for free. Great beach bars just off the main road, so look out for signs to Remezzo (our favourite) etc on the waterfront. Plenty of places to shop around for car/quad hire & trips around the island, on land & sea. A fun train runs into Zante town every day from opposite Legends bar (€8 return) Just the most wonderful people & easy for us to return yearly.

Calm and very nice area.

Calm and very nice area. Close to the sea, perfect for relaxation, away from the crowds. The only thing i do not like, but this is not related to this specific area, are the roads. The roads can be very bad, and if you navigate using google maps or waze, you'll definitely end up on narrow roads.

An abundance of Restaurants of many denominations, plus plenty of themed bars for drinks, all within walking distance, just perfect!!! The whole place is relaxed, happy, and just such a good place to be, a perfect location to unwind and enjoy after a few months hard slog at home. Or, a great location to hit the bars and live the high life, your choice, a fantastic location for singles, couples, groups and families alike, Kalamaki has just about everything, for everyone, and everyone is just so friendly; what a place to live, never mind just holiday!!!

Just the right amount of busy for us as a couple and great for families with young children. The beach is lovely and there are plenty of restaurants to go. Supermarket there stocks everything you need.

Quiet location but with easy access to amenities if you want it. beautiful views of the sea with it being up on a hill. lovely scenery surrounded by Olive groves. local restaurants with delicious authentic Greek food and wine. Perfect for a relaxing peaceful holiday.

There are lots of places to eat and drink in the town as well as a variety of shops. The town is very accessible from the airport and ferry port. There is a town beach within easy walking distance. It's easy to explore the island from here as the bus station and the tourist train are here.

A lovely town - definitely tourist central (main source of...

A lovely town - definitely tourist central (main source of income) but there is so much more than "downtown" madness lol - Take a long walk to Turtle Island (go early to get your spot on the small beach, entrance fee of around Euro6). Hike the side roads admiring the olive trees and farm animals. Rent a quad or car and explore further afield. Tour pickups are readily available. The food, coffee and drinks are delicious and within reason depending on what you care to spend - LOVED the icecream cafe close to the beach and there is a delightful European Bakery to enjoy fresh cream or chocolate yummies. Almost everyone is friendly - like everywhere, if you smile and 'ask" courteously, in return you will receive a positive response! A week is a good stop - 10days if you are wanting to spend more time lounging on the northern beaches. A worthwhile happy stop :)
