From the very beginning, we felt the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, thanks especially to the incredibly kind and attentive staff. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private pool and were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and a fresh fruit platter. At the end of our stay, we were even gifted a bottle of Contessina’s own olive oil – such a thoughtful gesture that made our departure bittersweet. Breakfast was a daily delight – fresh, varied, and always served with a smile. Every morning felt like a warm embrace. The on-site gym is small but modern, and for those wanting more space or equipment, the large and well-equipped gym at the sister hotel is just perfect. Highly recommended! This hotel combines luxury, soul, and genuine hospitality. We’ll be dreaming of Contessina for a long time to come.

Stunning villas with lovely views and still close to town and centre of zante. Outside furniture all comfortable. Your pool is cleaned everyday pre 8am Staff were all lovely. Abdul is great and with you so quickly to get up and down steep hill. George in reception lovely and the team in the restaurant all lovely. Liked it wasn’t a buffets style breakfast and portion was huge!

Exciting Holidays for Everyone

Surrounded by clear blue waters, Zakynthos (or Zante) is the 3rd largest island in the Ionian Sea, named after the son of Dardanus. This green island features mountain villages, fertile plains and gorgeous beaches.

Zakynthos was destroyed after the Great Earthquake of 1953 and rebuilt according to an anti-seismic code. Some of the buildings which were not damaged are St. Dionysios Cathedral, the National Bank and the church of St. Nicholas.

The island has one of the most famous Greek attractions - the spectacular Navagio Beach. Accessible only by boat, the 'Shipwreck' is an isolated beach with white pebbles and turquoise waters.

Set amongst olive groves and vineyards, the tourist resort of Tsilivi is full of traditional taverns and bars. The beach village of Laganas is a real gem for young people that love clubbing and are looking for a hotel on the Strip, but also for families seeking a shallow beach and warm waters. The Caretta turtle visits Laganas beach during its reproductive period and lays its eggs on the soft, golden sand.

We loved this resort ! Amazing pools , rooms and facilities & food . We had a family room (2adjoining rooms ) for our family of 4 (2 adult children)overlooking one of the pools. All staff super friendly, breakfast amazing with so much to choose from . Very close to the beach (2min walk ), and 2 min walk to supermarket , and about 15 min walk into Tsivili with its abundance of restaurants, shops and bars . My children used the gym . Me ate at the restaurant one night and the food was very good but not cheap . I would definitely stay here again .

They are patient if you have any problems with credit cards I had a issue with my credit card I manneged to get some cash out the cash machine and were able to use the card reader for the second card I had they are brilliant at taking you in and looking after you I loved every momment being there you are treated like family best place to head to for holiday I will be back again to there's soon best hotel staff are amazing there always go above and beyond for their guests

It was close to the airport and easy to reach. It has its own beach area and a swimming pool. The staff were very kind, and the rooms were beautifully cleaned every day. Room 208 had a sea view – I can highly recommend it to everyone! The Gusto restaurant is just 10 steps away from the hotel. There’s a fantastic team working there. We ate there every day! You should definitely try it!

The room that I had was amazing and opened out onto the pool with a ladder into it. The decor of the room was fantastic and is clear that it is an upmarket hotel. The food and inclusive drinks provided were adequate for needs and of course there are other drinks that you can purchase. The staff were fantastic.

Tsivili is a perfect, peaceful and quiet area to stay in Zakynthos. We found a great, popular taverna and actually went there 4 times during our stay. There are many beaches, supermarkets, shops and also enough travel agencies offering tours, etc.

Argasi is a small town with lots to offer. There is a good mix of bars & nightclubs, but not too lively. Great restaurants the length of the town & all within walking distance, except the one on the hill, but they will collect & return you from your hotel for free. Great beach bars just off the main road, so look out for signs to Remezzo (our favourite) etc on the waterfront. Plenty of places to shop around for car/quad hire & trips around the island, on land & sea. A fun train runs into Zante town every day from opposite Legends bar (€8 return) Just the most wonderful people & easy for us to return yearly.

Lovely location fairly decent sized strip with plenty of restaurants, low key bars and plenty of souvenir shops. Ideal for couples and families. You can get the bus easily to Zante town, and if you want to see the 18-30 generation, also to Laganas.

excellent beaches within the area to spot turtles and snorkel. There are some lovely tavernas to experience Greek food and hospitality. An abundance of coffee shops aswell. Places - Dafni Beach, Gerakas, St Nikolas Beach Places to eat - Perfetto Snack Bar, Mpampis, Lithies Taverna, Kostas Brothers, Gyro House, The Blue Yard and Taverna Familia. Easy to get around Vasilikos. You do need a car.

Just the right amount of busy for us as a couple and great...

Just the right amount of busy for us as a couple and great for families with young children. The beach is lovely and there are plenty of restaurants to go. Supermarket there stocks everything you need.

The restaurants and bars are very good.

The restaurants and bars are very good. The pubs would be even better if they sold pub grub,although that might effect the restaurant trade. The beach is beautiful unlike some places I've been. You can also spend time at the pool if you don't like the beach. It's also quite small and easy to get around.

The sea views are wonderful from various lookout sites. There are several restaurants all serving delightful Greek dishes. The Keri area is more calm and soothing than other parts of the island, so if a more lively party atmosphere is important to you, Keri would not meet your expectations.

It's a small village with just a few restaurants and 2 mini...

It's a small village with just a few restaurants and 2 mini markets, is a quiet and peaceful place, suitable for people who look relaxation and/or families with small children (there is shallow water for some 30 m from the shore). Renting a car is a good idea because, in the village, the bus comes only 3 times a day. The streets are very very very narrow, so be aware and drive slowly :) Enjoy your staying!
