The location is fantastic. Next to the sandy beach. The room was very spacious and quiet. Hotel had few extra facilities to choose from. The ground floor rooms had their lovely swimming pools in their balconies. We did not have a chance to stay but ir looked amazing. Good variety of food choices. Fabulous stay.

The staff made a really good impression on me. They were polite, helpful, and always pleasant to deal with. My room was tidy, the bathroom was clean, and the housekeeping was appreciated. Surrounded by clear blue waters, Zakynthos (or Zante) is the 3rd largest island in the Ionian Sea, named after the son of Dardanus. This green island features mountain villages, fertile plains and gorgeous beaches.
Zakynthos was destroyed after the Great Earthquake of 1953 and rebuilt according to an anti-seismic code. Some of the buildings which were not damaged are St. Dionysios Cathedral, the National Bank and the church of St. Nicholas.
The island has one of the most famous Greek attractions - the spectacular Navagio Beach. Accessible only by boat, the 'Shipwreck' is an isolated beach with white pebbles and turquoise waters.

They are patient if you have any problems with credit cards I had a issue with my credit card I manneged to get some cash out the cash machine and were able to use the card reader for the second card I had they are brilliant at taking you in and looking after you I loved every momment being there you are treated like family best place to head to for holiday I will be back again to there's soon best hotel staff are amazing there always go above and beyond for their guests

The room that I had was amazing and opened out onto the pool with a ladder into it.
The decor of the room was fantastic and is clear that it is an upmarket hotel.
The food and inclusive drinks provided were adequate for needs and of course there are other drinks that you can purchase.
The staff were fantastic.

I stumbled across Tsilivi this year purely by accident and...
I stumbled across Tsilivi this year purely by accident and wow, am I glad I did. I have been to Greece dozens of times, Zante three times now and Tsilivi is by far the nicest place in Greece I have been to. It truly is a hidden gem. The people are so friendly, the place feels lovely and upmarket and is really clean. Its a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport and has a lovely beach with plenty going on. I think it suits a slightly older crowd as many of the people there seemed to be 35+ with families rather than the younger ones who tend to prefer the very lively Laganas down the road. The locals that run the hotels, restaurants and bars all seem to know each another and they all cannot do enough to make you feel really welcome and part of something really special. It really is true that you arrive as guests and leave as friends. Those that have been will know what I mean and it wasn't surprising that so many people go there again and again, year after year. Loads of fantastic places to eat and drink, steak houses, seafood etc, good shopping, sights to see, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, boat trips, water sports, beaches, heaps of high quality hotels and apartments etc.. its all here.

I love Laganas It has beautiful beaches, friendly people, lots of great activities, We ate lots of local foods, my friend was married on vezalis beach so this was an amazing addition. It was very easy to get around via coach or walking, we got on a free bus to banana beach.

The 3 hour boat trip is great as you visit Turtle island and after that you can swim in the sea near the boat in very clear blue water. The captain was very friendly and you could see that he loved his job.

Very busy main strip as its a thorough-fare, so lots of choice of restaurants, bars, hotels etc,
and the beach was very disappointing ... limited access and very dirty with seaweed and rubbish, narrow and the water did not look clean. Having been to Tsilivi before arriving in Argassi., Tsivili is much nicer and cleaner beach.

Kalamaki is a quiet town, but there is a good variety of shops and bars. There is also a plentiful range of accommodation to suit all preferences and pockets.Transport for the venue is reasonable and it is close to the airportt. On a personal note, I was able to watch as much football as I could have wished for in the many b.ars and restaurants.

I have been coming to Alikanas for many years.
I have been coming to Alikanas for many years. It is a quiet resort but has enough if you want to stay up late without it being full of night clubs. The food choices are great, if not all broadly similar, and reasonably priced. The beach is a delight and super safe for youngsters as it is very shallow for a great distance and the water is crystal clear.

The village was how we'd imagined a Greek island should be, it was our first visit to Zakynthos and we wanted somewhere away from the built-up busier resorts in the south. We hired a car at the airport from EuroAlfa car rentals, they had the best reviews and are a family owned company with years of local experience. We would say a car is probably needed while staying on the north tip of the island. We saw no public transport. I'd searched out some places to eat and they were all great, we ate at Madrakia Taverna and To Nisi, both in Agios Nikolaos and a short drive up the hill The Old Windmill, which was exceptional. The little coffee shop below our accommodation, Passeo Coffee & More served the best coffee and ice-cream at the best price. We took a boat cruise to the blue caves and shipwreck with Actipis Cruises. Great value for money but pick your day if you don't have sea legs, it was very choppy the day we went and my sea legs aren't the best!! We love a run (even on holiday) it's very hilly but the views were worth it, found some off road routes on Strava. The sea all around the harbour is crystal clear and there a couple of little beaches, Madrakia beach was our favourite.

I love Ano Vasilikos, a calm quiet area with lots of smaller beaches, perfect for some real relaxation. The area is not overbuilt, so no crowding and no general busyness about the place. Two supermarkets and a pharmacy, a few stores with clothes, inflatables and other random stuff. Enough good restaurants within a short walk. Olive trees are everywhere with hens and cockerals running free. Only one main road through with lots of little verdant roads leading to beach, a restaurant, an apartment or an olive grove.

You are surround by olive groves - and if wanted - it's just a short drive in several directions to some beautiful small beaches where the water is beautifully warm - and certainly not overcrowded. Heaven!!!!
Well worth hiring a car for the duration of the stay.

It's a small village with just a few restaurants and 2 mini markets, is a quiet and peaceful place, suitable for people who look relaxation and/or families with small children (there is shallow water for some 30 m from the shore). Renting a car is a good idea because, in the village, the bus comes only 3 times a day. The streets are very very very narrow, so be aware and drive slowly :) Enjoy your staying!
