If you want to have a relaxed vacation with your loved ones or just by yourself, Daleside Manor is a wonderful place. The staff, the location, the fooodd! All absolutely exceptional. Each room comes with either a garden view or mountain view. Pick any, it'll be worth it. They also have a library, pool table, playing area for the kids - ask the staff about it. And also great spa services, didn't try it, but heard from other guests. It's just 15mins walk to the mall road. Depending on your fitness level you could choose to either walk it or get a local taxi.

The property and food was amazing. We were here for wedding and after that we extended our stay .It is located at top of a hill so it gives mesmerizing view. Service of the staff is top notch, especially the smiling reception lady Anchal & Karuna. I would definitely recommend this to others. Ms. Rajni & Team Kudos to them. Aman Subham Abhishek Karuna. Housekeeping team were amazing : Baldev Karan Raman . Excellent work done by them.

It is a cozy hotel with a spectacular valley view and hearing the chanting from the monasteries nearby. It was an amazing spiritual experience. I especially enjoyed a lot chatting with the staff and hotel owner about the Tibetan story in the courtyard, I felt warm and connected like home. Sometimes it was fun to see the monkeys jumping around.

Amazing stay. Service was excellent. It is nice to feel like a King for a few days. Staff is always tending to your needs, and finding ways to accommodate you. I recommend taking a trek up Shali peak. The Oberoi Guide was outstanding. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Food was great, especially that morning breakfast on the balcony. No complaints.

    Most of the shopkeepers are friendly, go out of their way to help with your needs. Though some may hv their bad day. The connectivity within the town and/or the suburbs is not very good. Autos overcharge heavily. There are no meters. Be ready to walk. So bring as little luggage as possoble. I was going for a trek. Other places will be visited in my next trip.

    McLeod Ganj is such a beautiful place.

    McLeod Ganj is such a beautiful place. I don’t do alcohol or smoke anything but this place kept me high. For a week I stayed in Shalom backpackers it was a very good place and view from the hotel is beautiful (recommend). Checkout Morgan’s place, Tibet kitchen, Alt cafe and Queenies cafe in Norbulingka. You can rent a vehicle as soon as you get down from the bus(petrol bunk stop) Ramdeep Travels bike rental place. Sweet Punjabi guy will help you plan your trip. It’s difficult to find sensible people, most of them are junkies. Nature has its way of making you high you just have to explore with patience. This trip made me realise nature doesn’t really need humans but we humans need nature.

    The good: the view if You are on the mountain side, the name of the hotel The ok internet and hot water The bad all the rest, extremely noisy place and bad vibes. If someone wants to relax or at least sleep, avoid this place. However, if someone wants to smoke the shisha and argue, it’s just the right place! Noisy all hours of the night and into early morning.

    Must visit for a peaceful and calming visit. Paragliding is very easy in the area, and all the carriers of it are very helpful and easy to coordinate with. Additionally, the city has many cute and aesthetic cafes and restaurants.

    It's a very beautiful and vibrant town. It serves as a base to explore other areas like Hikkim, Komic, Langza, Chicham, Kibber etc. The town is filled with cafes serving delicious food. The locals are very friendly. Do get Spiti souvenirs from local shops.

    Popular Hill Station, Everything is over priced specially Taxi service. Lack of good public transport. Food was good quality and price vary place to place, close to Mall road everything is expensive with low quality. Hard to move around for non-local as public infra is in bad conditions in most of the places. Taxi, hotel and tour guys have fixed few places to mark them as tourist spots, but all of them are not worth of money a person spends, there could be more better places to visit. like water catchment wildlife sanctuary, Bird Park etc but Taxi guys gives false reasons not to got there. Apart from historic places , everything else could be found in any mid-to-big city for activities.
