Breakfast and all food was delicious. Staff was so helpful. Employees were quick to respond and did it with huge smiles. The view is amazing. It is a total 10 all around. The beds were so comfortable I did not want to leave. This is a luxurious hotel and resort at fair prices that outdoes anyone else

Mahasu House is like a piece of heaven come down in Mashobra. We travelled in the end of December 2024 and were delighted to find the property covered in snow which made it look even more beautiful. The staff and owner were very kind and helpful even arranging a pickup for us from the last 200 meters where the snow was thicker while guests of other hotels nearby had to walk down. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and spacious and it felt like a home away from home. The living and dining rooms were something you’d see in a postcard. There are heaters in every room and the beds are nice and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and generous and we did not hear the word ‘No’ during our stay. Every request we had, from bonfires to food for our dog, were fulfilled with a smile. The food was delicious and we couldn’t eat enough. The loveliest part was the way staff would check on the next meal menu and ask for any special requests and their hospitality was unparalleled. They also helped us booking cabs to visit nearby attractions. We also met the owner again and his lovely wife on Christmas and they were kind, helpful and so friendly. Their welcoming personalities are reflected in their property as well and we will always remember our time spent here. We had the most wonderful time for the three nights we were at Mahasu house and every future hotel we stay at will be compared unfavourably to Mahasu House.

please careful from tourist place car driver where do not used u ur own car. for Jacko temple and Kupri area local transport take money from u first after that they will drop u location but when the time of pickup they will take different customers. when they free then get ur car it will take at least 1 to 2 hour waiting after u complete ur visit. very careful from them and they are local if u told something they will misbehaved with u and ur family.

As I haven't traveled extensively, I may not be the best person to judge the destination itself. However, as someone who enjoys being close to nature, the place wasn't quite what I had expected. It felt more like a town or small city rather than a secluded natural retreat. That being said, this also means that facilities are easily available—food, transportation, and other essentials are convenient and accessible, making the stay comfortable for most travelers.

Great place, excellent stay, rugged and hard roads, locations to visit are in all categories. Clean and green city. Mountains Mountains Mountains..Nice guide cum driver, the trip was cool and relaxed, refreshing. We love Shimla, will visit again.

The place is great. It has a lovely vibe. It is lively and touristy. Good & slightly pricey hotels are very clean however if you pick budget hotels, you may or may not have a great experience with respect to the room, cleanliness and facilities. The problem is the location from the hotels to the Main Tourist areas.. mainly the Mall road with respect to Shimla. All the Good hotels are very close to the place. However the budget hotels do mention that they are 200/400/700 metres from the mall road, but their short cut to walk and reach the mall road is an extremely hilly area which normally you can't walk easily. It is like trekking that area. Children and Oldies get tired and it is difficult to walk with luggage in your hands. One has to know that this entire area is a No Motor Zone.. so cabs cannot get there even if you hire one.. Very good hotels have their own pvt lift or path to reach the mall road which is easy and clean however budget hotels lack that and they lie about it in their descriptions!! So beware while you pick your place to stay!!! It is must to eat at the KRISHNA BAKERS right on mall road. They're super friendly , reasonable and finger licking tasty!! You must try their KURKEZ muffins and pastries! You should and STAY AWAY from THE EMBASSY BAKERY, HE IS VERY RUDE, and unbelievably expensive. It was a shock that he takes 600 rupees for single wee little cakes the size of a small muffin /cupcake. Overall Shimla is a great place it has unpredictable weather during summers though. But it is beautiful! The localites are also very helpful. Will definitely visit again and again!! 💕💕💕

I have been to Shimla many times—Shimla is therapy to me.

I have been to Shimla many times—Shimla is therapy to me. I can spend weeks there without any work. It is beautiful, so well-designed. The public-transport is amazing, the people are cultured and friendly, and the walks in the city are immersive.

Amazing view, perfect location close to Mall Road. Right on the main road, book parking if you have personal car. Staff is exceptional. Hotel Manager Tushar is super helpful. Good place to stay with Children, very clean and well heated. Room with existing bed wall mounted bed is perfect while travelling with children, no need to take extra bed. Washrooms have hot water 24 hours for bath and wash basin. Enuf bathmats provided for us to cope up with cold bathroom floor as we came from the West of India. Overall perfect stay in Shimla.

we talked to him on phone.he told us that hotel is at walking distance from mall road.after reaching shimla we found that it was way far than also on a very low slope that our traveller was not able to move ahead.we immediately cancelled the booking .although he told us lie ,he has nt give back my 1000 rs.such a cheap person he is.saurav aggarwal was his name

Our stay was exceptional here. The staff was friendly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We were delighted to find a hotel that welcomed our pet with open arms. The room was clean and spacious with stunning view of surrounding mountains. The hotel proximity to Mall Road it is easy to explore Shimla vibrant atmosphere.

I had a pleasant stay at Awadh Palace located on the Mall Road in Shimla. The biggest highlight is its prime location, which makes it very convenient to explore nearby attractions, cafes, and shopping areas on foot. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable stay with a nice view of the hills.
