I recently stayed at here for one night and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process quick and smooth. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a great night’s sleep, and the bathroom was well-stocked with high-quality amenities.

Great location close to west gate of Taj Mahal. The room was very clean with fast wi-fi. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpfull. Also the dished served in the hotel were delicious and staff service (Raj and his brother) was at the very high level.

This is an old traditional Haveli right smack in the middle of the Johori bazar - jewelry and textile HQ buzzing with thousands of merchants. The family had it classified as a national monument to be able to pay the upkeep and continue to live there. The cook make the delicious daily menu for dinner and everyone who wishes to eats together. The multicultural owners (father and son) are there to talk to with guests on a deeper level than just organizing drivers (which they do well also). Appreciated their openness and generosity.

I loved this property. The staff were super friendly & attentive. The room was WOW, beautifully appointed, spacious and the bathroom magnificent. I appreciated the amenities like coffee filter & moisturizer, things you don’t expect in this price bracket. Every turn and every corner was photo worthy, just stunning. The breakfast menu was wonderful, many choices and it was delicious and generous. They offer a shuttle to their restaurant The Peacock (I Think it’s called). I also enjoyed an amazing meal here. Highly recommend!

This was our third stay at the Maidens this year, and each time it has been amazing: we still think it is the best hotel we ever stayed at in our 40+ years of global travel, with thousands of hotel nights in 50-odd countries. We actually decided to stop over in Delhi on our way to Australia specifically to stay at the Maidens for some days, just to have the experience once again: it's that kind of really unique and special place! Right in the middle of bustling Delhi, there's this oasis of calm, with quiet gardens and mature trees, where peacocks and squirrels roam, and traffic noise is far away. The hotel was built as a luxury hotel in 1903, and been in use as such ever since. And today, 120 years later, it still magically exudes the atmosphere of that historic past. We just love coming back each time, that feeling of "coming home" we experience here and nowhere else: because the place still largely looks like it did in 1903 (the photos prove it), but it's otherwise an amazingly modern five-star hotel. And with an incredible team managing it: and that makes this place so special, and adds so much to the experience, beyond the historic element. We had another great reception when we arrived this time, with Prachi, the Hotel Manager, personally taking care of us and ensuring our stay was yet again amazing. We got our favourite room, and enjoyed every minute of our time there. The restaurant has this great variety of delicious dishes on the menu (Western, Asian, Indian), and thanks to the two chefs and their team, we loved having dinner there each night, as always. Overall and in every respect, this remains our favourite hotel in the world. It's just beautiful, and in a way you won't find anywhere else. Stay here if you can: it's a unique experience.

I checked in several hours behind schedule, thanks to the incredibly bad customer service of Qatar Airways, who had not only destroyed my suitcase but to add insult to injury, had kept me waiting for over 2 hours to file a damage report. I was obviously not in a good mood. However, the hotel immediately sensed that and upgraded me to their nicest room as a way to ensure that I at least had a comfortable end to a long and stressful day. I cannot underscore just how much I appreciated this simple act of acknowledgment of my mental state and the generous act of kindness in such a situation. The room was obviously very comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was delicious and full of options to satisfy every palate.

I have visited Delhi about 7 or 8 times though the last time...

I have visited Delhi about 7 or 8 times though the last time was in 2014. Since then, I feel that the air quality has deteriorated a lot making it a major issue for me. Also, there has been a huge increase in the number of motorbikes making it difficult to walk most places, except around Connaught Place and Chandni Chowk where things have actually improved.

There is a magnet in this city which pulls you. There is adventure and there are umpteen healing centers. There is chaos and traffic, yet there are oceans of calm. I'm looking forward to going again next month

If you are coming for 2-3 days then it's perfect time to explore this ancient city.staying more than 3 days will feel boring as not much things are there to explore. If u are on spritual path then stay as many days as u can. Each day u will feel different energy.

It is super easy to reach from Delhi.

It is super easy to reach from Delhi. Get a train Bus or self ve hile to reach in around 5 HR. Street food like kachouri and sweets are great to enjoy.Most of the shops sell veg option. People are nice. Great for spiritual travel.Enjoy walk near ghats and Ganga Arti. Some ghats are overcrowded. Hotels near ghats are not clean fools you with more price and no facility. Street foods are good.Rishikesh is nearby don’t get in taxi trap they charge u around 1000 to 2000 . Uber 900. Rather take a bus for 80 rs or a shared Tempo for 60 rs

The city is very nice.

The city is very nice. We visited Birla Mandir Temple, Jawahar circle with Patrika gate and the Marble gate and Hawa Mahal and they were all very beautiful and worth visiting. There were lots of small stops near Hawa Mahal, at the Bapu Bazar, with nice traditional things to buy. We saw many monkeys as well. Unfortunately our trip was way too short, as there were lots of places we wanted to see but didn't get the time (mostly because of the traffic).

Too much traffic and one have to spend 4 to 5 hrs only in traffic, we were stuck on the way to rohatang pass for almost 5 hrs and finally had to return. The city is not clean, garbage everywhere on the streets. Local drivers and Pvt taxi drivers always drive on wrong side adding chaos to madness

My stay at Trident Agra was truly wonderful.

My stay at Trident Agra was truly wonderful. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, excellent hospitality, and very professional staff. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food and beverage service was outstanding, with great quality food and attentive service. I especially appreciated the warm welcome and quick response from the team throughout my stay. The location near the Taj Mahal makes it even more convenient for guests. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and business stays.

Landowe is a beautiful place, quiet, serene and completely unlike the noisy crowded Mussoorie. Excellent cafe THE IVY and fabulous Bakery, only it is a long walk, especuially on weekends when hordes descend ( r ascend ) to Mussoorie from Dehradun and vistrtually almost everty city/town in betwee, Delhi and Dehradun !!! Mall road in mussoorie was as usual chock a block full. There is a nice restaurant/eatery just at the entrance to mall road a few steps from Mishtann bhandar ( sweetmeat shop). Great place, excellent stay, rugged and hard roads, locations to visit are in all categories. Clean and green city. Mountains Mountains Mountains..Nice guide cum driver, the trip was cool and relaxed, refreshing. We love Shimla, will visit again.

Amritsar is quite good, Visit to Golden Temple was really...

Amritsar is quite good, Visit to Golden Temple was really magical and satisfying though rush of devotees is always there. Partition museum and Jallianwala Bagh are also quite good and well maintained. Food is quite especially in Old areas of Amritsar. Though traffic and heavy Footfalls can be a liitle disturbing. I visited in Hot May days but it would be good to visit in October, November or February, March. Winters are generally harsh in Amritsar.
