This property is absolutely amazing. A haven of peace and tranquility on the banks of the Holy River Ganga. The staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. Hemant and Nikita at the reception desk, Arvind the guide who took us Har ki Padi, the front security and the restaurant staff. The food and endless cups of chai the staff happy to provide. There was a lovely afternoon tea with beautiful bhajans. The aarti by their private ghat was beautiful and felt so special. All the way to the hotel car and driver organized to take us to the airport. I can’t fault anything about this hotel.

Very good value in Tapovan. Just a block from the main road to avoid the hussle. Just across the street to access the new glass bridge and the big orange temple. Good location. Easy and cheap ride in collective rickshaw to ganga aarti. Very friendly staff that takes time to introduce, explain what could be visited, and always ask if you need something. Room cleaned every day. Spacious room and large bed. Hot water and bathroom clean. Elevator. Restaurant available on top. Good tasty indian food.

The most well-thoughts and genuine hospitality experience (It exceeded a 5 star Japanese hospitality service). Other than the four days of great resort experience, there are some special things to mention: 1. Exceptional Check in/out experience: they provided a welcome drink to comfort the nausea feeling after a long trip from the airport. During the check out, they offered a cake while checking out and asking for feedback. And gave a blessing of water by Ganga river as a souvenir to bring back. This warm gesture isn't just protocol as the other 5-7 stars hotels do. It's well-thoughts and empathizes with the travellers sincerely. 2. Culture experience: there is a Ganga's Arrti at the river bank everyday. We got a chance to participate in a ritual and dip in the holy water with a safe, clean condition. The ritual was beautiful. It's the same authenticity as visiting the most famous Ganga Arrti but in a private setting. 3. Activities: we didn't get bored with our stay. We did morning yoga sessions next to the swimming pool and river view every morning. The yoga instructor was very nice. She guided us depending on our condition. There was a very interesting stargazing experience (paid), the guided was very knowledgeable to share a lot of stories. 4. Restaurant was amazing. I tasted all kinds of Indian dishes from north to south. It was very delicious. 5. I especially love the shower gel products. Came to know it's a famous brand for organic beauty care brand.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. Sincere thanks to the lovely warm staff at ITC Savoy, each and everyone from the welcome was just a pleasure to meet. The rooms do have a lot of the old school charm and the hotel’s heritage and history make it all the more unique. Rishikesh is famous as spiritual destination… it serves the purpose to the extent but one of the major issue I would like to share is that walking trails specifically near Parmarth Ashram is full of chaos due to fast moving two wheeler in the narrow path and making horns. I think the issue can be resolved by making the path free of two wheelers which can ply on the back streets. In the good tourist spots of the world there is always free walking paths

Cool nice place for a quiet clean air quality and noise free stay within a green jungle area. Kulchas, Tasty Tea, Maggie, biryani, local food, FRUITS, at decent prices all over. Charm of Safari and Tiger is in air. Not too hilly to reach, like mussorie, nainital or shimla. Plain fast access but feel of a real hill station through out for kilometres.

There are many more less explored resorts in Uttrakhand like ranikhet mukteshwar etc which offer pristine and great panoramic view. Bhimtal is crowded and may be okay for the first time travellers to Uttrakhand.

It is a small city at the foot of Nainital and Bhimtal. I had a short layover at the hotel on my way to Binsar which is at a long distance from Delhi. Haldwani is a good city with good shopping options for all popular brands which I noticed during my stay. You have many good restaurants also. It is a good option to stay for a night at Haldwani if you want to go to Almora/Binsar from Delhi-NCR.

Good views. Good budget friendly hotels and BnB's. its good for maybe a long weekend or just 3-4 days. Longer than that and you could explore maybe nearby towns or areas, because there is nothing really to do in mukteshwar except the shiv temple and chauli ki jali.

We had great time at Villa.

We had great time at Villa. My daughter loved to play around in beautiful garden and green lawns. Rooms and washrooms were spot clean with lovely interiors. Comfortable beds and has multiple recreation options for kids and adults. Amazing views of sunrise and the nature around. Great home cooked food with morning and evening tea.
