We were only here a short while but the stay was perfect. A very friendly familiy that run their guesthouse with love and attention. The room was big and comfortable, a place to sit in the front and the a bedroom attached. Dinner cooked by Suba is fabulous so dont miss out on her rice & curry. They arranged a tuktuk for us so that we were on time for the 4:40 train in the morning. If you come to Mannar, look no further and stay here.

My stay at El Shaddai with Vimal and his family was very pleasant. The room was clean and the bed very confy, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I had an ear infection and Vimal went completely out of his way and took me to the local hospital and helped me navigate all the procedures and translations. Very kind family and definitely recommend this place.

Ran by a wonderful family: this organization is working on mending the relationship between donkey and human. We stayed at the donkey clinic for a couple nights and got to know the impact of this place. We highly recommend you come stay at the clinic or at least come for a proper tour and get to know the donkeys and the people behind the project.
