Wow. Absolutely blown away. Upon arrival we just looked at each other in disbelief! The gardens and grounds have many different pathways and areas to explore, with stunning views from every angle. Completely surrounded by nature, we watched monkeys, birds, squirrels etc play in the trees. Photos do not do this place justice- the landscape is too vast to fit into a photo! Even though they don’t currently advertise as catering for vegans, we were very well taken care of and they adapted the menu to accommodate many sensational meals. The workers are so friendly and always took care of us. They also gave us a free Tuk Tuk ride to/from the rainforest for a hike, and also a ride to the local waterfall (which is nicer to walk back from but the offer was there for a lift back). Felt very rejuvenated recovering from jet lag here at the beginning of our trip- didn’t realise till we left and went to other locations just how relaxed and easy we were there!

We had a lovely time at Sinharaja Forest Resort. The location is perfect for nature lovers – quiet, green, and so peaceful. The room was very clean and cozy, just what we needed after exploring the forest. Breakfast was simple but fresh and delicious. The staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling. Great value for money if you want to relax and enjoy the beauty of Sinharaja

This is an exceptional property! THE place to stay especially for birdwatchers with birds easily seen from a three way viewing area above the restaurant as well as outside the rooms and gardens. The manager makes the place, always smiling and attentive to every detail making sure everyone’s stay is the best. You can walk to the world heritage site park and the birding jeep tours pick you up at the gate with your packed breakfast. Meals were excellent and the quality well known to others with people seeking out their restaurant for the great the great food. I highly recommend it. I stayed 6 nights and would recommend 3 or 4 to enjoy the area.
The Rainforest Hideaway has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Deniyaya. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a water park.

The owner Sahara was super friendly, good English speaking and helps with absolutely everything! Moreover the location is super unique! The food there is also very delicious.

I loved the peacefulness and great air quality in the place, Saman and Mesha were extremely accommodating and were excellent hosts I really felt like I was in my second home. The bungalow is clean and well insulated from insects and has all needed amenities. Saman is a great guide and Mesha is an amazing cook both very friendly and speak great English. I will really miss this place I can’t wait to come back!

Amazing experience!
Amazing experience! It's a hidden gem in Sri Lanka and will cater for every type of need. You love nature but dont want to hike, this is the place to go. You want to hike in the Singharaja forest? Well this is the best place to stay. You just want to be with your loved one? Nothing can beat this place. The bunglow itself is an art in the middle of the forest, packed with memories from the past but also with all modern day amenities to make you comfortable. Above all, the staffs are exceptionally good and will ensure you have personalised experience all the time. They will know yoir need even before you notice. I woild like to thank Lasith for his exceptionally hospitality. I have been to many places but never found someone like him.
