Rooms were spacious, beds were big, everything was nice, tidy and clean. Reflected the same feeling as the pictures did - warm cosy and interestingly rustic themed. We had a good night sleep there with our family, neighbours sounds didn't penetrate the walls either. For extra there were small kids toys in the room, what gave it another great value. Garden was spacious with chairs, tables for everyone plus some gear for some sports too.

This 160 year old heritage building was a school for over 120 years- began its life as a hotel in 2016 after Dinah and her husband bought and renovated it in 2014. This hotel is superlative- tastefully decorated with incredible artifacts and books throughout the hotel The hotel has a Billiard room, library, cozy seating areas to curl up with a book and a beautifully tended yard with lovely gardens. it is a true gem. Our room was spacious- we had a balcony with a seating area- elegant linen bedding- bed was super comfortable- quiet at night despite being fairly close to the highway Meke restaurant is about 750 meters away reached by a path through the woods- wonderful food, staff and location Sumptuous breakfast with omelet, cheeses, meats, fresh veggies and fruit- delicious.

This was by far the best place we've ever stayed! Every detail was carefully considered, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy Christmas decorations. The thoughtful touch of leaving snacks and coffee made it even more special. The host was always available on the phone for anything we needed. The overall experience was a perfect 10 out of 10. The sauna was impeccably clean, and the jacuzzi felt fresh and brand new.

Beautiful, cosy, quiet place, we were there during a storm so there were not so many people there and it turned out super romantic. Very close to the beach, nice interior, good sound isolation, small kitchenette with dishes and kettle. Everything you'd need. We were offered dinner and breakfast but due to storm there was no electricity so we brought our own food and all was perfect.

Facing the beachfront in Salacgrīva, Kuivižu Krogs - motelis has a bar. The motel has both free WiFi and free private parking.
