Melaka is a place where so many historical stories which developes a great tourist attraction. Some more please spend your money on their foods products like gula melaka, dodol and belacan. Nood to forget their special coconut shake where you can enjoyed it at d beach.
I like the foods in Melaka but some places didnt worth of money. Recommending for Jonker 88 to full up your tummies. Mango Float Royale at Sg Putat also was mouth watering and will be the important place for me to come again.
The food in melaka was so good. If you come here, please have breakfast at roti canai kayu arang, lunch at asam pedas claypot, tea time at mango float royale and dinner at ikan bakar muara sg duyung.
*the best place: zoo melaka river cruise menara taming sari pirate adventure dataran pahlawan mahkota parade freeport a famosa *the best food: nasi briyani roket ahmad lim black pancake dodol angah peeza nadeje crepe
Hope melaka authority to speed up some road projects especially ayer keroh road & junction b4 reach hospital melaka.. Enjoyed stay at Melaka. Lots of variety of food..
Melaka is the place to go for good local food, history and architecture. The people are very friendly however the majority speak little/no English. Lots of trendy cafe’s & restaurants available. Weather can be hot compared to KL. Must Try Food: Cendol, Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, Chicken Rice balls, Coconut shake, Teh Tarik, Nasi Goreng, Sotong, Street donuts, Sweet corn juice, chee cheong fun.
Jonker street market, Unesco World Heritage section with the Victorian fountain, the remnants of the red Dutch fort, the Stadthuys, are the obvious places to check out. Hard Rock Cafe Malacca is close by. Give the rickshaws a whirl! Malacca town, especially along the riverfront, do have buildings with murals painted by various local artists. Keep a look-out for them, easier to do if you were to hop on a riverboat cruise along Malacca River during the day. Highly recommend trying out any of the Peranakan (Nyonya) restaurants within the Melaka Raya area, chicken rice balls or the nighttime hawker food center on Laksamana Jaya, behind Jonker Street or the Casa Del Rio Hotel. Try the nyonya laksa, unlike any other kind of laksa you may have tried

If you think Melaka is just another Malaysian city? Think again! With so many historical sights, amazing food, street art and quirky cafes, you might just end up extending your trip or keep on coming back for more ^_^
Malacca have always been our most favourite place to visit. But this time around we have visited the historical and heritage place like Perigi Hang Tuah and Makam Hang Tuah. We have always enjoyed the famous Coconut Shake and kuih keria gula melaka. Though the best Asam Pedas Melaka is situated at Bukit Katil. The price of the fish is acceptable to me as a tourist but if it was a common people in Malacca it’s rather costly. We have yet to explore other places that we have not been to.Looking foward to visit Melaka again anytime soon.Malacca is a very clean country as compared to JB.
Prime location in Melaka. All the tourist attractions are within walking distance of this fabulous property in Melaka. The interiors of this hotel have a Malaysian feel. The staff is attentive and check-in and check-out were a breeze. We also rented a bicycle from this hotel for a joyride around Melaka. I enjoyed my welcome drink in the nice courtyard of this hotel, which also functions as a movie hall on weekends. If the street food is not your cup of tea, there are quite a few nice restaurants near this hotel.
Arenaa Deluxe Hotel is always my first choice. I've stayed here many times and never once disappointed with their services. The staff are friendly, very helpful and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends to stay here whenever they visit Melaka and they are also regulars now. The rooms are cozy and clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Very convenient and close to restaurants and not far from the town area. I love the view from the balcony 😁.
The unit is awesomely clean, we travelled with total of 6 adults and 2 kids, this unit is just perfect to acomodate us, everything is clean, tidy, and have good stuff inside, big TV, complete kitchen, modern water dispenser, fridge, etc, best decision to stay in Melaka. Even when we got issue with the door smartkey (battery’s out), the host is very helpful, giving us clear instructions in a very polite way, lovely. Will definetely book this place again whenever we visit Melaka.
This was our first time staying at Double Tree Hotel Melaka. The room was nice, with a beautiful view of the city center and the sea. We did not have breakfast, but we went to the sauna. We felt good and had nice facilities. There was a swimming pool with an infinity view, but we did not have time to go swimming. Available Tosca Trattoria an Italian restaurant but did not go there. Parking free but need to verify by the hotel as the building share with Hatten city mall.
Malacca
I had an amazing time at the Amber Cove! The apartment's amenities, which included free private parking and free Wi-Fi, made my stay even better. The outdoor pool and round-the-clock security added an air of luxury, and the mini-market on-site was really handy. The garden worked as a peaceful retreat. I felt at home because of the welcoming environment for families. My top pick for a hotel in Malacca is the Amber Cove Melaka Hotel. Strongly advised for a fun visit
It was a fairly new condo right beside The Courtyard by Marriot and conveniently located close to our old favourite hotel, the Ramada Plaza Melaka. The check-in process was quite straight-forward, we collected the key card from the mailbox and everything from then on was easy peasy lemon squeezy. The unit was well appointed and had everything we needed. The infinity pool and gym on the 24th (labelled as Level 23A?) are a definite plus.
Malacca
Hosts were extremely kind and helped us with pointers for our next location. Can’t get much better than this location. Right next to a 7-11, Little india, China town and other monuments within a 5 minute walk. Weekend night markets open up just outside the Hostel. A/C and fans in room, hot and cold drinking water also provided. Will stay here again next time i’m passing through Melaka
The hotel location is excellent. It is next to the famous Jonker Street and within minutes from the Melaka River Cruise, Cheng Ho Museum, many good Peranakan restaurants and other interesting sites. The hotel entrance is very traditional Melaka style but the room is modern and nice. The breakfast is very good. The main dishes change every day. The room rate is very good value for money.
The hotel self-check in system is very easy and convenient, we can check in anytime even on the midnight. The room cleanliness is perfect and the room is big. The bed also very comfortable. Most important is the Hotel environment is very peaceful and quite. A lot parking space and the hotel price is very reasonable. I think this is our 1st choice when we travel to Melaka!
It was a perfect stay. Plenty of parking space, not too crowded. Well-mannered customer service. Will definitely come and stay here if we come to Malacca. Spacious room with a good view. Even though the building may look old fashioned, I can say that the interior design was acceptable. Overall, good, satisfied and worth every penny. Thumbs up, Bayview Hotel Melaka.
The hotel was in a good place and close to everything. The staff were very friendly, in particular, 'Dayah' was exceptional in her presentation and willingness to help and interact. She deserves a raise!!!! We are looking forward to return to Melaka and stay at the JonkeRed Heritage Hotel next year on our way to Penang and Kuala Lumpur.
Been busy so only had time to rate now, but I'm not kidding when I say that this place is the best out of all homestays I've been both here in Malaysia and in the Philippines. The staffs are very thoughtful and quick to reply to all our inquiries. Next time that we travel to Melaka, we will definitely stay here again!
The property is very close to everything and it is immaculate. It’s so clean. Our host Ridzsuan was amazing. He booked a taxi and woke at 5 am to make sure it arrived. He suggested some great restaurants and places to go throughout Malaysia. This was our first time in Melaka and we will be back. Thank you for a great stay!
Very great location only a minute walk to Jonker Street. Car park is available behind the hotel but is on first come first served basis. The room is very comfortable and the toilet is clean. The staff is super friendly and able to fulfill all my requests. Definitely will come and stay here again if I visit Melaka.
Excellent location in the centre of the old city. Clean spacious and charming suite on two levels in a heritage house with balcony overlooking the city. Very helpful staff. Lots of things to see within easy walking distance. If anything has happened in Malaysia, Melaka has a museum about it.
the facilities are superb. the host are so helpful, the apartment are spacious. very comfy for me and my family. child also happy. the location also strategic.. near to viral place such as keria antarabangsa and avocado melaka. will be check in here again when come to Melaka.
The location is walkable 5 mins from Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. It is new and modern in decor. Breakfast is provided. Car park in front of the hotel. Limited lots but seems sufficient. Guarded compound. Huge rooms and plenty of choices for family suites.
To visit my relative at Melaka General hospital. Only few km from hotel. Try to call the hotel for some clarification. Couldn’t get tru. Should provide the hotel no on the booking confirmation. However room very spacious parking abailable in front of the hotel.
Malacca
Sam runs a laid-back hostel with a friendly atmosphere. It is ideally located in the heart of old Melaka, close to the main attractions and the night market on Jonker Walk. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. The wifi and aircon work well.
Hotel location : easy to access to any attraction in melaka Cleanliness: overall the hotel is simple n quite clean n smell ok Price : not overrating ( ok for b40 budget but still satisfied n all the facilities/accomodation quite excellent )
