S Boutique Hotel is the best and nicest hotel our family has been in Panama. This is a real gem, a European luxury found in the Caribbean. The restaurant in the hotel is the best in the entire country. Sebastian and Sonya are great hosts and they pay attention to every detail so that you have the best experience from your vacation. We traveled with the dog and this place is pet-friendly. The room is exceptionally clean and fresh and we liked the design a lot. The bed is very comfortable. The pool is amazing. We will be coming back soon.

Great value ! The owner is awesome. She gave us lots of tips abouth how to move around , where to go and what are the best places to eat around. The location is perfect . Very close to the town . In front of the property there is a nice beach that you could use. Also the location is on the road to Bluff Beach and Boca Del Drago / Estrella and the buseses are crossing in front of the hotel. So if you don't want to use local taxis they are very convenient . The property was well beyond our expectations . The bed is 5 star hotel level. Very big , enough for a family with a small kid sleeping with you ( that was very important for us ) . Also they could arrange laundry service for you if the case .

Amazing! It was exactly what we were looking forward to and even more. Special thanks to the staff, who created such a great atmosphere, always friendly, attentive, and full of helpful recommendations. Choy, who speaks great English, answered all my questions beforehand, even helped me plan a special surprise for my partner and made sure we were having the best time throughout our stay. Alex, Jonathan, and José also provided fantastic service, always engaging and welcoming. Our favorite moments were definitely during the meals. The kitchen team did an amazing job with every dish. The food was incredibly tasty, creative, and beautifully prepared. The place itself is peaceful and relaxing, right in front of a beach where you can take long walks, surrounded by nature. There are also bikes available to explore the area and a ping pong table for some extra fun, even on rainy days. Oh, and they have nice background music. Everything was spotless, clean, well taken care of, including a beach view that added a perfect touch to the full experience. Thank you, Oasis Bluff Beach team!

The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. The room was comfortable. We had a balcony so view was very nice. Bernie was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning which was included with the room. We did also ate at the restaurant and our meals were all delicious.

It’s very weather dependent!

It’s very weather dependent! And it probably will rain at some point. Definitely take a boat trip, but you can save money taking a water taxi rather than committing to an all day trip. I highly recommend staying in Big Creek, it’s very pretty and mellow and just a couple of kilometres outside Bocas. Bocas town is very small and a bit scruffy, there’s not much to do except go to bars and restaurants. Cycling is a great way to get around. Isla Colon is really worth exploring, you can visit the jungle and waterfalls as well as find lovely beaches. You’ll need transport like an electric bike or scooter. The whole area is abundant with wildlife.

Big Creek is in our opinion the best place to stay in bocas.

Big Creek is in our opinion the best place to stay in bocas. As it is not right in the city and more towards the most famous surf beaches you get the best of both worlds. The Jungle here is so pure and the wildlife is amazing, there are monkeys, sloths and tucans jumping and flying all around you. The Taxi drive to the center costs 2 dollar per person and takes 7-8 minutes. By bike you´ll need approximateley 20 minutes. If you are looking for amazing Wildlife and some relaxing time out of the noisy "pueblo", then this is definitely the right place for you.

We enjoyed The Restaurante Bar El Pirata and Buena Vista...

We enjoyed The Restaurante Bar El Pirata and Buena Vista both of which had excellent seafood and were on the water and the oceanfront scenery is beautiful. We enjoyed taking a boat around the islands. Getting around can be a challenge due to construction but the taxis are great. The best part was relaxing by the water.

Bocas Town offers many services (supermarkets, pharmacy, cafes) and seaside hotels with cafe-bars around well-designed docks. It is a good place to find tour operators and sign up for day tours to some of the prime beaches (Bluff, Estrella/Starfish, Wizard, Isla Pajaros, Isla Zapatillas) and resorts (Red Frog, Nayara, Playa Tortuga, Bocas Villas etc) in the different areas of the Bocas del Toro Archipelago.
