The staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms were pretty confortable and clean. I suffer from allergies but I had none while I was here! They are super clean and the spaces are awesome. I will definitely recommend to stay here. Not only the staff is really polite and attentive, but the location is excellent. I really enjoyed walking to the Plaza and seeing the streets and people walking by. Come here! You will not regret. 🤗

The place is as clean as could be. Simple room which suited me. Windows faced inner courtyard that is roofed in so noise is minimized. Breakfast doesn’t change but is adequate and service with that is good. Lunch and dinners offered but I didn’t partake. No English while I was there but some staff accommodated me with App translators which got the job done. Bed was very comfortable. It was my second visit to Cajamarca in past year and I can say with some history that there are only a few places in the center of this great city that surpass this hotel in cleanliness and service.

Just a block from the Plaza de Armas and only four blocks from where buses arrive from Ecuador (Loja, Vilcabamba, Zumba) and where buses depart for Chachapoyas. Clean place, helpful staff. Soap and shampoo provided. Solid wifi. They take credit cards (V/MC) with no markup. Eggs, rolls, fresh juice and coffee for breakfast.

Great place to visit.

Great place to visit. Not to many foreigners, mostly Peruvians from different departments. I stayed 4 completely days. If you go, choose any local tours from the plaza. Do not booked from a private travel agency as the will charged twice as much as the local tour places at the plaza. I had two tours per day 9:30-2:00 and the 3:30-6:30. Cumbemayo and ventanillas de Otuzco were my favorite places to see along with the city tour and the hacienda Porcon this last one I recommend to skip the mini zoo and take the horses to the upper valley to see the waterfall. Tried spendings more time, if possible to see the rainbow trout’s reservoir and eating lunch there. Best prices to buy local cheese and dulce de leche. On your last day, go to the thermal baths and request the new baths, about s/15 soles. Great places to relax and unwind. Eat at The hotel restaurant el Marque or at Fritos around the plaza
