We often think that paradise on earth doesn't exist, but that was before we came to Plantation Bay.
My wife and I stayed in Plantation Bay for about two weeks, initially for the lagoon and the views, but the longer we stayed, the more it became a second home for us.
First, the food.
Starting with breakfast, there are a variety of restaurants all over the place. It's even delicious. You can have a really good meal here, not just a half-assed one, and the menus are varied. The flagship restaurant, "Kilimanjaro," is located in the center of the lagoon, so if you get hungry after a day on the water or just want a mango shake, you can always go there.
2. relaxation
First of all, the rooms are in great condition. They're clean and tidy, so there's little to stress about like bugs and lizards.
Also, most of the guests are gentle and quiet, as they are basically quiet. The only sounds we hear when we fall asleep are the wind and water, and the only thing that wakes us up is the birds chirping.
Finally, they have a really nice massage area. If you like massage or Japanese gardens, this is a must visit.
3. Everything is possible inside
Before I came to Cebu, I saw advertisements for various activities, but I realized it was a waste of money. Here, you can do everything from island hopping to snorkeling, jet skiing, getting certified to diving and more. The prices are reasonable. Best of all, there are no extra fees.
They also offer souvenir and delivery services. This can range from room service to outside food delivery via Grab.
Wrapping up,
Plantation Bay is a great choice for your Cebu trip. However, there are a few caveats
- Be aware of the cost of taxis in Cebu, they make a lot of strange offers.
- Habal-habal and tricycles are not allowed inside the resort.
If you leave the resort, taxis and others can give you an unpleasant experience. You can avoid this by using an app.
Really classy accommodation for reasonable price, staff are very professional, rooftop pool with excellent views. But the best part for me is the breakfasts. So much choice it is incredible, including my favourite as an Englishman - bread and butter pudding. Well placed near Parkmall which has lots of good restaurants. Room really comfortable and comes with massive bed and shower temperature and pressure so good we didn't actually ever use full power.
very clean and very japanese ..they also provide slippers..water pressure is very strong ..yu are staying in a japanese hotel so toilet is also very japanese style ..something unique like toilets in the ship. only stayed for the night but v satisified with my stay ..they hav massage on the 7th floor and quite cheap u dun need to go out really..mall is just below the hotel though we ddnt hav time to go since its just 1 night..happy customer here thanks
I was greeted at the reception and the host showed me to my room. She explained the utensils and appliances. I found the staff very helpful. and would not hesitate to Recommend KC Studio to anyone wishing to stay in Cebu. Its location, room and facilities are really good.
It was convenient for me because I was about to take computer based test in pearsonvue which is located in the same building of the hotel. It is also affordable and clean.

We used a guided tour on one day and the other day we did our walk tour which was not covered in the guided tour. People were very friendly offering assistance to some of the location we wished to visit.

It's a wonderful hotel that you don't need to leave for your stay. It has everything. The staff are world-class and the food is first class. They surprised us when they found out it was our anniversary with a complimentary bottle of wine.

Moalboal is a good and nice place to stay . I highly recommend the place to both local and foreign tourists. But I can not recommend which resort to stay . Which resto to eat , etc since i have not been in all the restos , etc.My suggestion for the resorts owner to update their profile and pictures of their resorts
to help tourist pick a place to stay.

Woaw....a very busy place. It was super nice to do this. A new check mark on my list. Tons of people, go early, as in early. We left the hotel at 6 and arrived at around 7 already tons of people. We got boat # 189 and there are 200 boats (walk ins) and there are like 100 numbers for online booking. 10 people per boat so image approx. 3000 on that day and they told us it was not so busy. Tourists pay $20.00 and locals$10.00.
We rent a GoPro and the video files were not normal MP4 file, so it was a pain to find a way to convert them. All-in-all very fun event.

The island being small is a bit crowded on the side near the pier and the bounty beach. I haven't explored the northern part of the island so this will make me go back and visit the island again in the future. Good to visit for divers as this is the jumppoint to Kimud shoal where the Thresher sharks frequent to visit.

More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT Park area. I really did not enjoy IT Park because it was just a big mall area with businesses and restaurants and a lot of congestion and noise.
The Pusok area was much quieter. More locals which I enjoy interacting with. Easier to get around.
There is a mall area but it is not as big or nice as other malls in Cebu City. But I was able to find everything I needed. Some shops close a bit early though.
When I return to Cebu City I will probably stay in this area again. I like how close it is to the airport because the ridiculous traffic in Cebu City concerns me when I need to get to the airport.
I think the cost of lodging is more affordable in this area.
I was always able to get a Grab taxi when I needed it.

Review for Malapascua Island: Perfect for diving (thresher sharks) and snorkeling, otherwise not much to do there. Recommendation - compare prices for fun dives at different dive shops, some are very pricy.
The north beach was a disapointment - some smaller sections of the beach are cleaned, others very dirty and smelling like rotten animals. Not much to see in the water while snorkeling there.
