The place is located in a beautiful place from where you can do biking, kayaking and walking trips. It is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are clean and neat, and the place is pet friendly. Also, there is no problem with contacting the owner-my last train left and yet I could calmly return to the guesthouse to take the first possible one the next day. Perfect for watersports, with plenty of options available (but you have to explore yourself ...). Sejny is a small town in the podlaskie region, surrounded by fields, lakes and forests. It is worth visiting for its local charm, and landmarks, such a White Synagogue, run by Pogranicze Foundation, (which also runs the nearby Dworek Miłosza in Krasnogruda). As it islocated at the Polish-Lithuanian borderland, in the the shops and in restaurants (such as Dom Litewski), you can find Lithuanian and Polish specialities, such as regional cheeses, meats, and liquors. Most breath-takingly beutiful nature and landscapes. National Park status assures peace and quiet. A perfect place to re-charge one's batteries. Great walking and biking trails. Rezydencja Nad Wigrami also offers bicycle rentals and a fully equipeed campsite complete with showers, fire pit and plenty of room. Hotel is located by a lake in a quiet wooded area. The interior of the hotel is really beautiful. Room and all the public spaces were very clean. Room was spacious and well equipped with a kettle and coffee maker etc. Pool area was nice and cozy. Staff was very friendly. You could purchase a fire pit evening, go fishing, go swimming in the lake and I'm sure there would be more available if you wanted. A very nice city situated on 3 lakes with tour boats to take you on a nice trip on those lakes. I pretty much ate my meals at the Pensjonat Zagielek where I was staying as their restaurant serves delicious meals. They even have daily specials a few days of the week.
