The hotel is amazing! The rooms are beautiful and pampering. The views are breathtaking. The food served in the hotel's restaurant is very good and the service is great. We enjoyed a walk in the vineyards, using the audio-guide provided at the hotel and wine tasting activity which was also very interesting. Take into consideration that once you get to the hotel, you wouldn't want to leave, so plan your tour of this beautiful area, before or after arrival to the hotel

What can I say about this hotel? I absolutely loved everything about it! The facilities are modern and comfortable, the location is convenient, being close to both the highway and the city, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Additionally, the staff is incredibly helpful and provides excellent recommendations for places in the city. The breakfast is top-notch, with individually prepared items. All of this, coupled with a fantastic cost-to-benefit ratio, makes this stay an excellent choice for any traveler.

A very gorgeous and interesting place to stay. Beautifully decorated, stunning interiors with clever and generous lounge areas to chill out. Wonderful spa and pool facilities. The staff were all really lovely, friendly and welcoming. The Marialva area though slightly remote is really worthwhile visiting.

If Viseu was near the ocean I would've moved there...

If Viseu was near the ocean I would've moved there inmediately. Lovely streets to wander around, parks and local shops and restaurants. Lovely architecture to admire and just love the ambience. The N2 national road passes through here and it's close to a great metal festival.

Not too much to do in the fall. Quiet city. Pretty city from far views in the mountain, very few places where you can try cheese selections with good wine. The wool factories are a key attraction like Burel. Finding great servings of the Serra da Estrela cheese should be easier.

Guarda is a beautiful city.

Guarda is a beautiful city. In 1 day I walked to all the major sites and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Another day would have been ideal. Part of Guarda is exposed to the wind so if you go November December time be prepared with warm clothing.

Seia is a nice little city with plenty of cultural sites, restaurants, and shops. In general people are very nice and welcome visitors. Nature surrounding the city are beautiful and there are many short and long hiking trails around.

Nice and modern hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. Nice restaurant with a view on the hill. We also enjoyed the indoor heated pool. The hotel is located in an area of cheap apartment buildings and the surroundings are not enjoyable. Seen from the outside, the hotel is also ugly, except from the outside swimming pool area.

The COA Valley Museum is fabulous and many travellers seem unaware of it. Prehistoric rocks carvings (not in caves, in the open). Field trip by jeep and walking to view them in situ, and wonderful museum are a must for me. A highlight in both my trips to Portugal. I wouldn't miss it.

Perfect Breakfast with fresh bread in a cloth bag on the door and fresh milk in a glass bottle in the fridge. Fresh figs and a bottle of good wine for the evening. Really good beds with high quality bedding. Very beautiful wooden floor and windows in a very beautiful blue. Very quiet residential area. Very nice an functional bathroom. Very attractive furniture. Viseu is a gorgeous little city with rich historical tales, medieval buildings, cute cafes, and lush gardens. I really loved this city and became impressed with how clean and safe it felt, as a young woman. I really want to visit this city again. Can’t say that for most of the cities in Portugal but Viseu was just so charming.
