We felt at Home right away. At Home but with a spectacular scenic view. The staff is so Nice and the pool Area is really peacefull and scienic. The Wine-tastning was super interesting. The design around the place is unique - really good taste!! Hope to come back 😍😍

Wow wow wow what a view. The accommodation was spacious and fabulous, a comfortable bed, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay we felt like we were on top of the world with the amazing view. The road up there is an experience as it is exceptionally narrow and steep but our little hire car chugged up there in first gear. Once you have been up and down a couple of times you get use to the road. We really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely amazing views as you drive onto the wine farm. The views of the Douro River from the swimming pool were magnificent. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Dinner and breakfast was outstanding and the setting was just spectacular. We enjoyed a morning walk through the vineyards. There are plenty of hiking options available. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back.

Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect. Our hosts were so kind and caring we felt like they had become our friends. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The breakfast offerings were delicious and we had home cooked four course dinners both evenings that were very satisfying. Our hosts arranged a winery tour for us that we greatly enjoyed.

The staff welcomed us and answered questions about the facility as well as the area. The facility is top shelf with lots of fine details in the construction to maximize the positioning of the buildings for guest comfort. The room was very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The food was of excellent quality and beautifully presented.

The best part where the people, everyone was so friendly, especially Ines Patricio, so helpful during our arrival and nice! We loved the view, I hadn't seen pictures before we arrived and I was so surprised on how amazingly beautiful the place is. The pool with the view and the great bar service, the fact they have their own vineyard and do tastings, the amazing food at dinner and breakfast, just everything was perfect! The views from the room with the cute balcony and the table and chairs was just lovely, everything was like a dream and we didn't want to leave!

Staff All the staff were really friendly and helpful.The young guy who looked after us in the dining room was particularly lovely. Check in, check out. Easy to do. Room The rooms are quite large and spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and excellent ensuite bathrooms. Food Evening meals had a good selection and were really well cooked. Breakfast has a massive selection of fresh fruit, cereals, meat, cheese, and more. Cleanliness Everywhere was immaculately kept. Car parking. There are plenty of parking spaces at the hotel.

Stay more than one night and explore: it pays dividends.

Stay more than one night and explore: it pays dividends. Have a look at Favaios and try the Cooperative's Moscatels, walking in the hills, go and see the palaeolithic art (about an hour away). One or two nights is not enough, especially if you include port tasting too! And there is always the poolside to relax when you dont want to do anything!

The area is just beautiful, stunning.

The area is just beautiful, stunning. There is a sense of awe that overcomes you and the natural surroundings... probably because how narrow the roads are and how high up are. It is worth the drive and the wine and olive oil in the area are exquisite.

One of the most beautiful places in the World.

One of the most beautiful places in the World. Don’t miss this area. Stay out of the large city. A vineyard hotel up high would be the perfect place. You’ll be able to drive through wonderful small villages in your way. Once in your hotel you’ll probably have access to a great personal or very small tour of the vineyard production facilities. We were invited to walk in the vineyard all we wanted. Views are absolutely amazing. We also stayed at the Barrel hotel which was touristy and filled with buses. Get up and away from the tourist crowd. We drive there Valley by car. It was easy and gorgeous.

Lovely region where you can explore vineyards and nice food.

Lovely region where you can explore vineyards and nice food. It is worth doing a wine tasting with visit to know the details about wine making and the varities of grapes. The landscape is exquisite and you feel an inner peace looking down the Douro river and the vineyards. The people are warm and happy, always ready to help. It is better to go by car to enjoy the full potential of the region. Be prepared to drive on hills with many curves and narrow roads. They also produce olive oil and it is delicious!!!

Magnificent hotel with wonderful views over the Douro valley and vineyards. Beautiful room. Beautiful pool, which blends perfectly with the surroundings. Nice breakfast, which was not served outside with us, despite nice weather. Good dinner, served in beautiful dining room with classic hearth. Perfect location, 15 min (drive) from Pinhao.

Absolutely the best hotel/bed and breakfast experience I’ve had in a Long time! Great host Miguel! Dinner was cooked to perfektion and the Wine was so delicious! Such a cozy and Nice place - I would definitely come back again :)
