Felt safe throughout our stay. Room was beautifully decorated with bright modern colours. Great location- some lovely eaterys close by and easy to reach places of interest arpund the city. good value. Overall would recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed in Hotel Duke. The location is excellent as you are very central in the city and close to all of the local transport links (bus, metro, tram).

Great architecture, every Saturday and Sunday during summer...
Great architecture, every Saturday and Sunday during summer Calea Victorei become pedestrian street, very good idea! A lot of parks (Cismigiu, Kiseleff, Izvor, Herestrau...) and greenery around boulevards like Blvd. Aviators, you feel like you are in a garden. Every Sector has a park. Old town is nice too, it is packed with all kind of restaurants, pubs, street musicians, a beautiful book store, great buildings with history. No smell of urune like in West Europe, limited homeless people and beggers. A bit negative: I see same stones on the pavement not fixed from my previous time, even near National bank, no maintenance ? Due to Danube river crisis/hot weather the museums, churches, buildings switched the lights off to save energy, a bit of sad but nesssesery. The street lights and on few hotels are on.

I came to like otopeni for its convenience to the spa.
I came to like otopeni for its convenience to the spa. I found bucurest busy, chaotic and with a lot of traffic so we were very lucky to be in the spa in and out within 10 to 15 minutes depending on the airbnb. We had a car and going in and out the spa and around otopeni was useful. I dont think you can walk around in the busy street. However I do not recommend driving in bucurest because if something goes wrong they have very strict driving rules and very strict police and I ended up having a lot of issues.

Therme was amazing got to recommend, don’t bother going for Elysium the palm is the best part! Close to the shops, nice affordable shops to visit and easy to use public transport, I’d recommend downloading bolt for your time there.

Snagov is close to Bucharest so you can have a getaway...
Snagov is close to Bucharest so you can have a getaway easily. There's a lake you can visit but come prepared to meet mosquitos in the evening and bring a repellent product to protect yourself.
It's easy to visit, I ate at Country Spa and have previously dined at Casa Vlasia as well - bit pricy but food is OK.
I recommend it for couples, I visited the place with my husband for our wedding anniversary 3 times.

The hosts were extremely kind and responsive.
The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed our group to use all the amenities. I strongly recommend. We took advantage of the snow and made a snowman in the yard. It is extremely nice to be greeted with a smile, warmth and responsiveness.
The hosts don't speak English well, but we used a mobile app and everything was fine.

Immaculate property, easy to get in and out, great location for the US Embassy, zoo close by and very good location.
Great, great beds and pillows, two balconies, 3 air conditioning units, restaurants within walking distance. Easy to get in and out, underground parking, great wifi. Easy to get in touch with owner. Super safe location. I would come again and stay longer.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. It’s a good location as everything is within a 20 minute taxi ride. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The owner, Victoria really went out of her way to make sure you had an amazing stay. We loved every minute of our stay there and would definitely come back!

Location on the lake is wonderful, next to very nice fish restaurant on the coast. Bucharest is so close and the Therme Bucharest also, Snagov monastery and Mogosoaia palace. Next time I will stay longer to be able to visit more attractions 😊

Visiting Therme is a great choice, also visiting Bucharest, the capital city is rewarding, lot to see.

A beautiful city, reminded me south Spain with the weather and architecture, I believe that in 10 years it will develop into a more attractive tourist destination, it has many vintage buildings, however many of them are in the mix of vacant buildings and ruins. With a solid investment it could become a smaller version of something in the same category as Vienna, Budapest or Prague.
