Quite good hotel not very far from ski center. Clean and well equipped, we had all we need for good staying. The apartment was very warm, luckily, we were able to decrease temperature on the heater. Shops, cafes and restaurants are nearby.

Beautiful town next to the Ibar river. Lots of greenery, nice coffee shops and good restaurants. Lots of history in the town and surroundings. Mineral monasteries, mountains for hiking, and outdoor sport facilities.

A visit to the Church of St.
A visit to the Church of St. Peter (Petrova crkva) is a must.
Many are unaware of three extremely important facts regarding this church:
1. Stefan Nemanja embraced Orthodoxy in the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (the Church of St. Peter) around 1143.
2. Saint Sava (Rastko Nemanjić) was baptized in the Church of St. Peter in Ras shortly after his birth, around 1175. His two older brothers, Vukan and Stefan, were also baptized there.
3. Through negotiations in Nicaea in 1219, Saint Sava succeeded in securing autocephaly for the Serbian Orthodox Church. One of the arguments used was the existence of an apostolic church—the Church of St. Peter—which became one of the key seats of the autocephalous episcopate, with its main headquarters at the Žiča Monastery.
The Church of St. Peter itself dates back to the 4th, 5th, or 6th century.
A visit to the Đurđevi Stupovi Monastery is also essential.
Đurđevi Stupovi is one of the most significant and historically valuable Serbian holy sites. It was founded by Grand Prince Stefan Nemanja shortly after the Church of St. Peter and is situated on a hill overlooking Novi Pazar, in the ancient center of the Raška region. Construction was completed in 1171.
King Dragutin was the monastery's second patron; he restored and expanded it during the 13th century.
Along with the Church of St. Peter, Stari Ras, and Sopoćani, Đurđevi Stupovi is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Unfortunately Kopaonik is a big construction site, not pleasant to walk around the center, most of the facilities and restaurants have been closed (end September). Can hardly imagine what it would look like during the peak season in winter.

Rudno dates back to the medieval Serbian state, when it was a mining town. It's small, and has two restaurants and one store, where you can buy homemade cheese and brandy. The surroundings are picturesque, and you can met some interesrting characters amond locals and guests.

It is like a little paradise.
It is like a little paradise. Everything is so well organized. The streets are full of street shops and beautiful restaurants besides that you can bathe in thermal water which are both indoor and outdoor so that is a great way to bathe in healing waters during the summer. It is not too hot like in the other tourist places and the nature combined with the thermal water makes this place mesmerizing.

Kraljevo is a small and quiet town, very beautiful on the banks of the river Ibar.
As for the tourist potential of the city, it is very small...except for the beautiful monument in the city center and the beautiful monastery of Zica, which is located 4 km from the city center, there is nothing else to see.

Little village with nice people.
Little village with nice people. The nature is untouched and beautiful. Everybody was well-minded and at your service to help, to give you a ride if you are tired of walking or trying to get out of the rain. You should visit the waterfalls of river Izubra, they are breathtaking. There is also a beautiful medieval church on the hill with tables for picnic in the woods.
