Exceptional place and staff. The concept of the hotel is thought-through in details - everything was just right. I am very noise-sensitive and this is the first time I experience such quiet environment in room and the surroundings. Waking up at the waterfront is magical. The grounds and hotel are a lovely mix of charming and contemporary but in keeping with the original buildings. I have never seen a hotel room with such attention to detail… hooks… robes… lighting etc. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and if I lived here would order one. This hotel was one of our favourite places during our 2 weeks in Sweden. Would absolutely stay here again!

Super cozy and quaint hotel, the room was spacious, clean and perfect for a solo traveler. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel also had afternoon cakes / snacks from 2pm which were great. Excellent location - within 5-10mins walking from Central Station, main shopping area/ Nordstan mall and the bus stop to take the bus to the airport, 20mins walk to Haga district.

Susanne was extremely welcoming! The property is very idyllic, close to bus stops. The room was clean, and the highlight was the breakfast. A full breakfast was provided, including homemade pancakes. Would stay here again next time we're around Höör.

Very cozy environment. A lot of attention has been paid to the details. I arrived late at night (10:30 PM) and left in the morning, but I would have liked a longer experience. Breakfast had a very nice setup which is important in my opinion. The breakfast staff was young but took very good care of the setup and service which I consider a special value. If I could have had a chance to arrive earlier and check in the afternoon it would have definitely extended the positive experience of the stay and I could write more about the opportunity offered. It was a bit unclear how many washrooms the property has if they are shared washrooms, but I will look into it next time.

Three nights were not enough! For us Strandakar made for an ideal home base for exploring the island’s many treasures. Our hosts Charlotte and Lars were the perfect guides in helping us make the most of our days. Breakfasts and dinners were both beautifully prepared and delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. For all of Strandakar’s charms and beauty, it is the hosts are the magic that makes this place special and one to return to again.     This is up there with the top 2-3 hotels I've ever stayed in. The photos don't do justice to how luxurious and chic it is. It's really all about the spa though. The rooftop spa is just incredible, and I've been to some very nice spas. I think this is the coolest spa I've ever been to. The cold plunge house on the sea was particularly iconic and lovely.

    I love how Malmö has history and culture and modern buildings. It's a city that has grown and changed, and it's still revitalizing new areas. That makes the city feel vibrant. At then same time there is a very laid-back vibe. I appreciated how low-key Malmö is after visiting much larger European cities. It was very easy to use the bike to ride around the city. The parks are lovely. The beaches are fantastic. I swam many times, and the water was so clean.

    Considering that I am hard travelling person and visited many countries and cities, It was one of the best Hotel in my life. Everything was brilliant: rooms, bathroom. I want to thank all staff of this Hotel. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. The breakfast was very delicious and pithy. The location also was not bad for the reason that Lund is very smart city by its roads and destinations. I liked to walk till city center without any transportation. Many thanks to you.     I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel.

    I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. First, the location was completely unsuitable — it turned out to be in an industrial exhibition area, not at all what I expected. I also paid 30% extra for a balcony room, but the balcony faced a parking and loading area, offering no added value. Second and most serious, I was charged at the time of booking via Booking.com, but upon arrival, the hotel claimed they hadn’t received the payment and made me pay again. Despite showing proof of the original charge, the staff refused to help and told me to deal with Booking.com myself. I ended up paying twice for a one-night stay. At checkout, no one took responsibility. Both the hotel and Booking.com admitted they received my money — but neither refunded me. It's now been over a week, and I’ve written and called multiple times with no resolution. I am still waiting to get my money back for the duplicate charge. The complete lack of support, communication, and accountability from both the hotel and Booking.com is unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel, and I advise travelers to double-check payments and be cautious.

    Linkoping is nice, Have been there a couple of times over the years visiting my daughter. This time I stayed at Scandic between trains as the location is excellent - close to the railway station and the city centre. I would stay there again if I get a cool room. I did stay there again 27 - 28/7 and got a cool room facing the street thanks to Abbe. He was very helpful and interacted very nicely with family with children at check-in. Abbe gets *****!

This is The Hotel to stay in Halmstad Sweden, conveniently located across from the bus & train stations that offer fast transit without any noise at the hotel. Buy the Bus/Train pass.     Like a mini-manchester but with a Scandinavian touch.

    Like a mini-manchester but with a Scandinavian touch. An insane amount of beautiful jugend architecture in a town for this size. It's fun to walk around and take it in. The redeveloped area around the worker's museum is highly recommended with a collection of good bars and restaurants and galleries.

    Wonderful castle and walks around and through the city were most enjoyable. The area is flat so no problems with steep inclines. Interesting history with many photo opportunities. Even took advantage of a local folk singing concert. We came away most refreshed and look forward to visiting again.
