The rooms are spotless and spacious, with beautiful balconies overlooking the sea. The pool area and sauna is a fantastic bonus! A special mention goes to Danijela at the reception—she is truly outstanding! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm smile and helpful attitude. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering great local recommendations and making our stay even more enjoyable. Her hospitality is a rare find and deserves all the praise! We will definitely be returning to Villa Bellevue Portorož and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Slovenia. Everything was great! The hotel and room were perfectly clean, beds very comfortable, and breakfast tasty and varied. Free parking is a big plus. Located in a developing business area (near a construction site, but rooms are perfectly soundproof – no noise at all), with shops and malls nearby, and just a 10-minute walk to the center. Friendly staff and bike rental available. Lovely courtyard with sun loungers, jacuzzi and ice tub – all free to use. Sauna available for €10/hour. Highly recommended!

The location & views are excellent & the manager was very friendly & accommodating. We were welcomed warmly & treated like VIPs. The bed was very comfortable & the breakfast buffet including eggs made to order was delicious. There is the most delicious looking gelato bar on property & our only regret is that we didn't get to try any.

Villa Majda is one of our top (if not best) experiences while traveling. The staff support was phenomenal, from suggesting great hikes, connecting us with local wineries, and helping us with some logistical issues. The breakfast was phenomenal and the dinner was unique and delicious. The rooms were spacious and lovely.

    The hotel is located near one of the best beaches in Slovenia. The view from the balcony was of the sea and Soline. Sunsets were unreal. Near the hotel there is a bar, 3 restaurants, a cafe, a small non-expensive supermarket, a walking trail to Piran and a bike path to Portoroz. Breakfasts were great for a hotel of this category. Everything was tasty and fresh. The choice of food and drinks completely satisfied us. The hotel also has a good bar, which is a little cheaper than those around. Very tasty cocktails! The room was bright, quite large and comfortable. The design reminded me of a children's room. The cleaning was good. We really liked the mattresses. There were no problems with hot and cold water. The air conditioner is very conveniently located and cooled very quickly even at +37. There was a safe in the room. A big plus of the hotel is its own almost free parking. Parkings in Strunjan are quite expensive and there are often no places there in high season.

    San Simon is hotel complex with you need for a good rest. It has various types of hotels, a restaurant, 2 beach bars, private beach , ice cream shop, water slides on the beach and desk chairs rent. We stayed in 4-persons room with breakfast and dinners. The room was super clean and room services was great! We especially liked dinners, the food is delicious, although on rush hours it’s hard to buy yourself a drink as all waiters are busy. Staying in San Simon is like a staying in little paradise, where all your needs and wishes are covered.

    Certainly one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever been! It's located close to the center of Izola - a car is not needed (nor recommended) to visit it. From the back entry, the Dolphin Beach is just a few steps away. It's a rocky shore, but there are several stairs into the water. The inside pool is filled with salty water, which is great. Italy is not far away, you can see Trieste across the sea. In the town, everbody seems to be able to speak Italian. The vew from the balcony is outstanding.

    A pleasant place mainly thanks to the people and services in the area. It is more about getting to know and meeting people. There are no nice beaches here, the coast is just a pile of concrete. Entering the sea without shoes in the water is quite unpleasant.

Great location, very central and close to all that you want to see. Disliked · While there is air conditioning in the main rooms, it didn't quite reach the bedroom. My partner and I love a cooler bedroom so it was a bit warm for us.

    A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable by foot so you can enjoy endless walks. Extremely beautiful sunsets at the marina area, lovely Venetian architecture, tasty cuisine. Very underestimated because of Piran's popularity but very cozy and comfortable for a leisure vacation. Lovely green beach Slovene Riviera and nearby Zusterna. I would recommend Koper to everyone as a base for their Slovenian seaside sightseeing as Izola and Piran are just 20-40 minutes drive away.

    Cool, intimate and quiet place, not as crowded as Piran or Isola. For those who prefer less crowded places, a little more off the beaten track. The port in Koper is no problem when it comes to enjoying the charms of the Adriatic in Ankaran.

    The house with the two apartments is simply great - there is absolutely everything you need, its spaceous, super clean, very well equipped, the AC works very well as well as wifi. The location is great to get to any touristic spots, or the sea coast. Its very quiet. The instructions provided by the landlady were timely and very clear.
